I can not get reception in my home unless I am hanging out the bedroom window. I have checked with T-Mobile and they pulled my address up on the screen and told me I am in the dead center of a dead zone. What a disappointment. If I wasn't in a plan with family in MN, I would be searching desperately for a new carrier.

Called Sprint many times about dropped calls as I drive up Lakeshore Dr.to my house. It gets good near Whistling Straits (of course, anything for Herbie K) but then dies down quickly near the lake. Even in Cleveland baseball park, I get no bars. A buddy has Einstein and had full bars at the baseball park. Sprint said that I am in a dead spot. Yea. I am getting out of my contract. In my house, I get no bars. My mom has a Trackphone and was able to call my sister no problem from my living room. Point blank- if you live around the Cleveland area and get Sprint after reading this, you can't say I didn't warn you.

Sprint and Nextel reception and customer service sucks. They said I'd have a signal and then left me on hold for an hour waiting for an answer!

Rock Springs has generally poor to nonexistant connection with US Cellular in the small downtown area. To get reception I have to go either East towards Baraboo ~ 1 mile so I can "see" Wis RSA#8, or North past the quarry so I can "see" the US Cellular tower towards Reedsburg. My house on 154 very occasionally gets 1 bar, calls are most often dropped. I have a friend with an Alltell phone who gets much better coverage in and around Rock Springs. There is talk of a tower going into Loganville but that is apparently (as of spring 2007) mired in politics.

Was told it would work up here, it quit even before summit lake... . Took their word for it and can't use it or break the contract without penalty... . Investigate throughly first! They wouldn't even cancel the contract for one used by a family member who died last summer, until we contacted the Wi AG's office... Don't take at face value anything Sprint or Nextel may tell you...

I have a cabin on Bone Lake and most of the time we get no reception with T-Mobile. T-Mobile must have an agreement with Cell One or something because once in awhile Cell One apprears on the phone, but no more than one bar. Very disappointing. We like T-Mobile, but it just doesn't work at the cabin.

We have a US Cellular tower about 200 yds away-you would think I could bounce off of them-No onw will tell me how. Cingular comes in great up in the North WOods of Wisconsin-where we have a cottage and don't have a landline so it's basically away from home that we need a phone-it would still be nice to get reception from home. Does anybody have an idea? I heard you just punch a code in your phone? I don't know what to do with this pda (Cingular8125) to make it work from home.
