Just signed with Sprit after finally dumping Element and that was like jumping from the fire into the frying pan. We have zero reception at our house. Since Element can't seem to service their customers, I think our only other option is US Cellular - disappointing :(

If I go outside and walk around my home I sometimes get 1 bar, which I immediately lose if I try to make a phone call. I bought this phone because of the advertised range of service, but can't use it close to my home. I'm out of luck if I have a car accident or have other emergencies.

Extremely frustrated-no reception in or near my home-was NOT a problem with Alltel, just since Verizon took it over. What's worse is the crap I have to put up with to try and get this fixed-Excuses up the wazzoo, false promises and then to be told that unless their techs authorize an early out of the contract that I would inccur penalties if I attempt to drop them and go to anther provider--where the hell is consumer protection let alone a company who does what's RIGHT. appears to me to be a failure on their part to provide the service I am contarcted for making ANY contract null and void. Very Pissed.

Hwy. 151 4 Miles North of Sun Prairie, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 Thu Jan 27, 2011

When I moved to Madison from Milwaukee, I was shocked to find that I had a phone that I could not use. It would not work in my apt in Sun Prairie at all. They would not allow me to cancel the contract without a fee. Now, 1 year later I get some reception but still not good. My son who lives in Milwaukee is on a friends and family line with me, at least it works in Milwaukee. I have had to by pay by the minute phones.

Johnstown Rd. / Freeman Rd. intersection, Soldiers Grove, WI 54655 Mon Jan 10, 2011

AT&T is useless here at the farm. So I have 5,000+ rollover minutes. I had coverage until Cingular bought AT&T back when. I use AT&T only when I travel. I'd avoid it anywhere.

Hwy. 19 / Beuthin Rd. intersection, Mazomanie, WI 53560 Thu Dec 02, 2010

Most of the time, I get no coverage here or along Hwy. 19 though occasionally I get "out of Network". Also had intermittent reception along Hwy. 14 between Cross Plains and Mazomanie and drop most calls. AT&T works well for me when I commute between WI and SC, but around here it's lousy.

AT&T never had good coverage in platteville, they made up for it by allowing roaming on partner networks. The contracts with these partners recently expired and AT&T chose not to renew. A single tower outside of town covers the area instead. Phone doesn't have reception 95% of the time.

County Rd.U and S, Algoma, WI 54201 Tue Nov 09, 2010

AT&T lists partner coverage in all of Wisconsin. This is not true. Significant swaths of area on the peninsula are not covered. From the intersection of county road U and S and north on U for about 10 miles there is no coverage. AT&T's partner, Bug Tussel Wireless, investigated my claims of no coverage and noted that none of their towers were close enough to provide coverage. AT&T has agreed to update their coverage map after I filed a complaint with the FCC.
