eau claire up to superior, WI - AT&T took over cellular one so I guess I'm commenting on both. totally Dead spot on the north crossing by the bypass, it will drop your calls. also, I used to get good reception with cellular one but now I don't get reception hardly anywhere. they really went down hill fast. everyone I know is switching. thank god it only costs twenty dollars to get out of this contract. Its like paying for nothing. you can't even use your phone. horrible.
3 seperate Alltel agents lied to us and said they were builiding a tower in Stanley. They lied, there are no plans for a tower here, and we signed a two year contract with them. So we have two new phones, a new 2 year contract, and no reception in our house or town. Thanks a bunch. Bad Bad Alltel...
Sprint sucks, you will never get reception in this area which is the major road between Bowler and GResham which goes out to Hwy. 29. North Star Casino is on this road and if you are lucky and have a razr you "might" be able to get a signal in the parking lot. Cellcom will get you a signal for maybe a minute in checkered areas but hardly enough to make a phone call unless you pull over.
Never get AT&T for this area. They blow, most dorpped calls ever. I get reception at home but not at my friends house or even at wal-mart. I use to be with US Cellular back in 2002 they were ok. Haven't tried Alltel but my friend told me that they were ok. The best server i've had so far was verizon. It worked basically everywhere where I went except in the booneys. Not a single dropped call like at&t. It really comes down to where you live and where you travel too. Not one specific company will give you perfect reception everywhere. And maybe you just live too far out in the booneys to get any reception of any sort. If thats the case stick to a regular phone.

I went back to Alltell 3 times to no avail. I just couldn't get reception with my brand new expensive phone even though my Tracphone got amazing reception in the exact same area?? :0(
No reception until halfway to Toma on Hwy. 21. Verizon was a lot better. ATT needs to Man-up.

We have CellularOne and what a terrible mistake. They have the worst people working for them, they actually know nothing about tech or tower info. They always refer us to say other manufactures for info. We are in a dead spot and have installed a repeator which was very expensive. When asking them for info on tower locations etc., they don't know the answers. They won't even return calls. I wished their was something or someone to report there unethical sales lies to.

Network guy and his crew must have been smokin crack when they set this area up. No bars is the norm, unless you turn around and then maybe one. It's ok, I did not renew, my contract was used in another area and it worked ok there, cause it was Chicago.
