Red Bluff Rd. / Red Water Rd. intersection, Beulah, WY 82712 Tue May 11, 2010

There are cell towers over 7 miles east and west of beulah. These cell towers only benefits a few ranchers. Beulah is the only populated area between these cell towers. On one in beulah has any decent reception. I live on a hill and cannot get reception. I have a trac phone and I cannot justify buying a more expensive cell which I would love to have. We need a cell tower in Beulah. Everyone around here complains. I would like to enjoy my laptop but there is no reception.

We travel almost all over the state of Wyoming and the reception is pathetic. Then whats really irritating is the phone will say you have 2-3 bars and still wont let you call out. Verizon does OK in the citys but in Wyoming your not in cities to long soo basicly there worthless.

At The Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone (East side of the park), I had no service on my T-mobile. I saw other people on phones, but T-Mobile was dead. The only place in the park T-Mobile has coverage is at Old Faithful and you will be roaming on another company's network.

My brother visited us from Texas. He had AT&T, but he had no reception. To get reception here, you just about have to have Union Wireless. It works even out in the desert.

No reception with Virgin Mobile from Rock Springs on I-80 to Rawlins. None from Rawlins to Casper on SR 789 and 220. None from Casper to Cheyenne on I-26. Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint system so I suspect their phones would not work either. A motel deskclerk in Rawlins confirmed that there was no Sprint service in that part of Wyoming. Good service in Cheyenne which is only 10 miles from the state line (must get service from towers in Colorado). Cheyenne was the only city in Wyoming where we found service. But the people in Wyoming are real friendly.

No reception with AT&T cell phone service with free roaming. Verizon phone (my Mom's) works ok, so why doesn't AT&T use their towers as roaming so my service works?? The weird thing.. it works 1 / 2 mile back towards town. Very upset and this is the last straw. I will be switching to Verizon by early 2009.

One of many spots in wyoming where Verizon has no service because of the a--holes in nebraska cellular services. it is a minor road in wyoming that is well traveled in the summer time for folks heading to south dakota (gambling spots and sturgis bike rally). And nebraska roaming service, you will pay with your left arm for a couple minute call ! getting really anxious for Verizon to get all the paper work signed and done to aquire Alltel cellular and see if that makes a difference (believing the worst and saying NOT). Wish one of the executives would break down in that area and need to use their phone to no avail -- in the middle of winter -- during a snow storm. Bet there would be a tower in that place within 6 months ! Just my 2 cents !

No reception anywhere near here. I was out of service five miles out of Montpelier. Does Verizon know Wyoming is a state?
