I always have service, even deep into buildings or in basements.

Excellent in the area, I have service almost everywhere and only a few dead spots most of which no one can get service in. I highly recomend this to anyone.

My phone has never once had a dropped call or bad reception since I moved to Groton in December 2006. I live in an apartment complex off exit 85 (I-95) and I get great reception no matter where I drive or what store I'm in. I've been over in Mystic quite a lot, no issues there. I've been all over New London and Waterford, still no issues. I've been out to Killingworth and hiked through Chatfield Hollow State Park and had full bars out in the middle of the woods there. Seems Cingular / AT&T phones have a pretty strong signal in this area of CT, if you ask me. I'd go with them if you're looking to get a new carrier.

Reception here is perfect, never a dropped call, and always a strong signal. I highly recommend Verizon.

Verizon's Coverage is perfect for all of eastern connecticut. I've never seen my signal drop under two bars. I have perfect EV-DO Signal everywhere too. EV-DO REV. A speeds tend to be with in 850 kbps to 1,450 kbps. Verizon has the best coverage in connecticut.

Great Reception near here. There's a cell tower on sharp hill in back of Montville high so reception is great as well as the rest of the town. Verizon is the best in the area.

Cingular has perfect reception here. It's always full bars in this area the only problems that I have is in some of New London and RT. 32. Go with Verizon

Sprint has excellent reception in my section of Norwich. Highly recommended, and PTT works great as well.

It's great where I live, but I lose all signal between 9 and 80

I have a Nokia 6010 bar phone and it has great reception. My girlfriend has two Motorola phones, one on Cingular and one Razr on Verizon and they have poor reception at the same locations.

I have been on Sprint since 9 / 11 / 2001. Even with the loss of all the cell towers that day I had great coverage and still remain to on my old and very outdated phone

I live in a brick building, and signal varies from no service to 3 bars, otherwise excellent service

Good outside dropped calls inside with Samsung but none with nokia

Quite good, Phone seems to do fairly well inside also. Deeper in buildings can be problematic. Quality of voice over phone a little lower than expected.

Good reception with AT&T GSM service, fair service with AT&T CDMA/TDMA service. Nextel and AT&T are your best options here, other carriers get fair to poor reception due to the remoteness of the base

I have no problems at all in Connecticut (so far) with my T-Mobile cell phone... .w / the exception of being inside Walmarts. For some reason, ALL Walmarts give me 0-2 bars at the most.

Works fine here. A mile away (in the borough) it's useless.

I have to say that the increase in Cingular reception has been substantial especially ever since the CT network was integrated in December of 05. Everywhere I go I seem to have the same or better signal than Verizon phones, which I know to have awesome service because thats who I switched from. Data-wise I have also been impressed with speed, as the Edge network covers nearly their whole network footprint. Ive had Cingular service since Nov. of 04 and signal strength has jumped by leaps and bounds since then. KEEP IT UP CINGULAR!

Good service majority of time in state and on travel in PA, MA and NY; however, cannot get service in or around my house near the waterfront.

2 bars but reception still acceptable. Increase in Bars when going just a few block north or south.
