Good reception.. WAY better than my wife's Verizon phone...

Reception is good everywhere. Only sometimes in the hoes you get poorer, but if you get closer to windows it get back up to full signal. Never had problems with any of my phones. Never had dropped call (if the service is good in the area I am in), Overall AT&T is the BEST.

I’ve had Verizon for about a year now. Smartest move I’ve ever made. I switched from Cingular after several maddening calls to customer service. Their customer service was absolutely horrible. I recently had an issue with my bill and called Verizon and they fixed my problem on the spot. I can appreciate a company that will treat me like a person not a number. I now know what it is like to be a valued customer!

Just switched to Verizon and love it! Service is great, great customer service, great call quality, etc. I love my phone! It is much better then my iPhone 3GS. I even get a discount on my bill. I have family who are now about to switch to Verizon from AT&T.

I've been with Verizon for quiet a few years now, wouldn't want to switch at all. Recently I was out in the country on a camping trip in New York State of course, trees, mountains, hills, valleys, etc., with friends who had different carriers, they couldn't get any reception in those woods... One of my friends had to make an important phone call and they were very upset that they couldn't get a signal... even when they had one of the hottest phones on the market... anyway, I offered them to use my blackberry storm, they couldn't believe that they could get through... so they left it as they were going to get their service through Verizon. Thanks Verizon... I know one day, you will be able to send signals through those long elevator rides, where nobody can get coverage. Oh Well..keep up the good work.

never have a problem love the service, no dropped calls, bars may go up and down due to area and networks in the area, but over all service and calls great..

I have both Cingular and Verizon. The Verizon signal is at full strength, even in my house near Thornell Rd.School. I've had no reception problem and no dropped calls for the 2 1 / 2 years that I have lived here.

Reception is great for me all over the city. I use my phone in Wegmans, Sams, Tops, The malls, and anywhere else I visit in Rochester. I also have great reception in any other cities where I travel. Sometimes when I am out with friends and their phones have NO bars they use mine for service. That has happened in NYC, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and DC. I highly recommend Verizons service. Their coverage is GREAT... wont speak on their prices... lol.

New Sprint and Nextel antennae on our 4 story building. Nearby building also has a new antenna. Used to have 'no service' on 1st floor.

Perfect reception from Cingular at RIT, most of Henrietta. Not so great at home in Corn Hill. Perfect along major highways and through Canada.

Since the start of 2006, Verizon coverage on UofR campus has been excellent.

I get the best service at school out of all my friends. I never have a problem and cingular works great. Do NOT get Verizon if you're coming to this school, my roommate used to stand in the right hand corner of our window to get one bar of service on her phone.

I'm a heavy cell phone user and travel all over the world. I know where all the Sprint dead zones are in Rochester (like the Winery on Turk Hill Rd.on the way to the East View Mall). Atlantic Ave. isn't great either, but 441, 490, 590 and 90 are all fine... The phone makes a huge difference and the Motorola Timeport still can carry the day. Keeping your phone updated with the lastest software is the key to making it work inside of Wegmans, where it now works great. It works in my house even with one bar... .I say this because my wife has the same phone... .once I upgraded her phone software it now works great in Weggies... I'm still looking for a new Sprint Phone... .but it looks like for now I'll just go and get another high capacity battery for this one... The guys at Radio Shack just shake their heads and say that it is still hard to beat the TimePort... .Sprint needs to get with the picture and get some better business phones. Sprint is good with billing and Customer Service. Can't say the same for others... .

I have no problem with reception no matter where I go with this phone. It doesn't matter whether I am inside or outside I get good reception. No problems with incoming or outgoing calls. I personally like the LG models compared to the other phone I use to have. In my opinion Motorola has the worst quality of phones. There phones are have weak reception and would never by another Motorola phone. Cingular is great adn I would recommend it to anyone that is willin got try it.

Great goverage. In home and outside of home. One bar better that my VX8100 -VZW- if 4 on the VX8100 is maximum and 5 on the X497 is the max.

Had Sprint until we moved here and found the reception to be poor. Changed to Verizon. Reception is better, service is worse. Verizon in completely intolerent of changes to your plan and is incredibly stubborn about correcting billing errors (and when they say they've fixed it, don't believe them).

Reception is always "5 bars" except that my calls are ALWAYS dropped after 10-12 minutes. ALWAYS. I go from perfect to nothing in an instant.
