Had AT&T and was very happy with coverage switched to Cingular after the merger and am still happy with the coverage. I travel to Butler and never lost coverage or dropped calls

Alltel in this area is by far the best around... With Sprint coming in 2nd. There are hardly any places where you do not get signal!

I had T-Mobile, it would drop off all the time on the Parkway West and on the North Side and West End. Verizon has been perfect, I highly recommend it.

Verizon Recently activated a new tower that gives most of this area good service where there was none in 2006. This would include Meadowbrook Estates, Midland, and much of Ohioville. The signal is EVDO with internet and Vcast working well.

I was a subscriber of AT&T and then Cingular for years. Always dropped calls and had no reception in my house. Bradford Park and coming up Conway Wallrose Rd.had no service or couldn't make / get calls. Switched to Verizon and haven't had any issues with getting or receiving calls (even in some of the farthest places from towers). It's Great!

Warrendale Bayne Rd between Spang Rd and Big Sewickley Creek Rd. I had Verizon for years and this was always a dead spot. Switched to Spring and the coverage is great. Found that Sprint has a tower in someones backyard just off Friel rd.

We have had AT&T and Verizon over the years, and T-Mobile beats them by far, for reception. No dropped calls for us, and reception is always 4-5 bars. This is also true for New Castle-BFalls, and Robinson-New Castle or BF.

Good coverage, but then again, it is right near the airport.

I've never had any trouble getting reception in Burgettstown.

I used to get GREAT reception, anywhere around here, and anyplace that I would travel to. I always had 4 or 5 bars and only about once a month would I find that I had only 1 bar of reception, and when I did it would quickly go back up to 5 when I would move. That all changed when Cingular switched to AT&T. Now i'll just be siting in my house or out somewhere (all the places I used to have wonderful reception at) and I find that one minuted i'll have 5bars then the next it drops to 0. This is constant and most of the time I won't even move the phone. It's VERY annoying. I wish they would go back to Cingular.

I live out on Tope Rd.out east of New Cumberland. We generally have 2 to 3 bars inside and outside of our home. There is an tower on Florence Rd.near New Manchester (4 miles) and one in Pa. off of Ridge Rd.(3 miles). Not a very strong signal overall.

very, very poor reception and signal in and around my house. bought an antenna booster which helps somewhat. Am thinking a tri-mode would be better than digital???

I always say my phone was never included in the "fewest dropped calls". I drop calls all the time. I work outside of Zelie and I drop calls all the time there. Hopefully with the merger things get better.

I have 2 lines with T-mobile, & neither phone works well. The Nokia 3390, worked better in these areas, but nothing to shout for joy over. One line used a Sony Ericsson T300, recption was terrible in most so-called "outlying areas. My color Sidekick is 3 times worse. I even contacted T-Mobile, & the only thing they could say about the sidekick, it's primarily a data device, & there is no software upgrade available or in the works. They couldn't suggest any handset that might offer better recption. In my home, you can forget it. The service in none, & if I wanted to be by the window, I would have taken up window washing as a profession. Their customer service is a joke, right along with most of their products. I know I'm not the only complainer of their customers, when everything works, it works well. But I think they need to focus on feedback from customers, rather than making excuses, or the attitude of "oh well, so sorry". Hopefully this review falls into the lap of someone in their company who cares & really want to do what's right, rather than focus on their personal profits.
