I've personally found U.S. Cellular to have the best reception in Bedford County. I've tried everyone over the past few years, and U.S. Cellular by far reaches the sparce areas with in the county. I've found reception in Rainsburg, Imler, Fisherstown, Saxton and Loysburg, all which were areas that I didn't have service with any other provider. I hope this helps.

I have Verizon Wireless and get excellent reception at my home near Frankstown Elementary school. Never have had a problem. Verizon seems to be the best carrier in the area.

Varies between 1 and 3 bars. There is service at some points on Saxton and then up 26 and up Henrietta mountian road. Cell signal through Pinchot...

I have had AT&T for a long time now. Most people in Williamsburg have Verizon but I don't. I dont get excellent service in town but all I need it, is on the west side and I usually have three bars there. But there is no service at all on the east side. Williamsburg is a big hole in case you didn't know. But 1 mile out of town I have full service and that is where I live so it is perfect for me. Right now as I type I have all five bars. I will probably stick with AT&T for quite awhile. I like how it have roll over minutes and all that stuff.

Good to average. Few dropped calls. Incoming calls okay. Much the same in Bedford.

Real spotty reception, but able to make calls from a few spots in Broad Top, Saxton and Cassville. Really need coverage in this mountainous area, especially with many tourists and visitors.

Seems to be worse then it was. Only 1 bar on the phone. No 3G only Edge but then even Edge is spotty.

Service in this area sucks! Need to do something, or when we move back,will be forced to drop cell phone service!

Just moved to the area and am shocked that there is no reception anywhere.

There is no reception whatever, would be nice to have a tower nearby, for I usually do not go out of this area very often and pay outrageous prices, for what? to use 4 or 5 times a month?

I very seldom get reception here from Verizon and my LG vx6100. I might start out at two small bars and then, no signal.

Not sure about out on the lake but in the resort, I have no reception at all.

Usually I have excelent coverage here (4 or 5 bars), but all day today my phone has been "Searching for Service". Not very happy...
