Towers are built and improvements are constantly made, so the most recent comments are most reliable. But when determining which provider to go with, get a general feel rather than focusing on individual comments.

Eventually, as you read through the comments, you can see a general trend as to which service provider is superior in the area. Hopefully this will give you more of an idea rather than walking into a service plan blind. Sort by Carrier, City, Zip Code, Reception Rating, or Date by clicking on the header.

reception has improved markedly. Used to have to go to the second floor to make / receive calls at home. Cingular has upgraded the network. I notice several new towers on 422 near Collegeville and Sanatoga. I can now use the phone anywhere in the house with pretty good reception. Only occasional dropped calls. Generally happy with the service

Poor reception inside GSK, on Swedeland Rd, but decent reception in most of the rest of KoP. There are dead spots here and there -- a big one on S. Gulph near Kingswood Apts -- but all in all, the coverage is pretty good.

My ex-husband developed a brain tumor due to his heavy cell phone use and constant irradiation from nearby cell phone masts. I urge those of you who have been ill to google the Bioinitiative Report.

Rout 73 - Boyertown, Boyertown, PA 19512 Wed Nov 05, 2008

I have been sick since several cell phone masts were installed in my neighborhood... My (once litter-trained) one year old cat suddenly began spraying the corners of my home upon the installation of a new mast - at the age of 2, he died of fatty liver. I got another cat - and by the age of 2, he was dead of FIP. I got a third cat - and by the age of 2, likewise, he was dying of renal failure. Even my vet was stumped. All of my pets, even those that lived, developed some chronic health problem which required ongoing medical attention while living at this address. A cat with bladder stones. Cats with outbreaks of diarrhea. A dog with some antibiotic-resistant infection. A hamster who grew a tumor so large he had to drag it to eat. Another cat who died of renal failure. Even I developed multiple antibiotic-resistant infections. My neighbor gave birth to a boy with Down Syndrome / childhood leukemia - these have been linked to chronic exposure to electromagnetic fields! I urge Boyertown residents who have been ill or who have been suffering strange symptoms in recent years to google the Bioinitiative Report and Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, an emerging environmental illness. I truly believe this electromagnetic radiation is LETHAL to all life forms.

The State and Union Hill Rd.intersection area is in a valley, and mobile service is spotty. But AT&T pulls through with average service, compared to my spouse's Sprint coverage, which is nonexistent in our home's location.

Reception could be great one minute, and then completely drop the call the next minute. -Very annoying. I usually have to call people back at least one time every call because the call dropped. I am looking for a new phone since this one is older. Maybe it will work better.

I've had conversations that lasted from GSK (on Swedeland Rd in King of Prussia), through all of the various ways you can get to the PA Turnpike West, on the turnpike all the way to the Morgantown exit, up Rt. 100 to Little Conestoga Rd., and to the intersection of Little Conestoga and Fairview. There are spotty places on Little Conestoga, but on good days the reception lasts all the way to Fairview. From there on, reception is nil, until I get to the intersection of Isabella and New rds, where it picks back up again.

All it does is cut in and out of service and roaming. I have to drive about 5 minutes to get full reception. Can't wait to get rid of it.
