Great reception and service. Only have 2 dead spots. 1- I-55 getting off on the 129 exit. 2- A 2 mile stretch on Rte 113 by the Kankakee state park.

No problems in Bourbonnais / Bradley / Kankakee with Sprint. It now even works at the Kankakee River State Park.

No problems in Bradley, Bourbonnais, or Kankakee. Mostly 4 or 5 bars inside and outside. Coverage goes out near the state park. Also there is a dead spot in Manteno on Rt. 45 ad Division St.

Reception on Alltel anywhere in the Bourbonnais / Bradley / Kankakee area is great. I can often get two bars inside large buildings when others get no reception. When outside I almost always have either 4 or 5 bars. Couldn't be happier with Alltel. Definately 5 out of 5 stars.

Always had great reception all over the entire Joliet - Chicago area. Signal used to be a little low in my basement, but a new tower just went up down the road and now I even get a decent 3G signal in my basement.

I get great reception with Nokia (5 bars). I get horrible reception with Samsung (3 bars)

Verizon used to be terrible here until about a year ago when I guess they put up a new tower. Now its near perfect reception anywhere around here.

Cingular has good coverage in Will County as far as I am concerned with the exception of a long dead zone running from Grundy Co through Shorewood and Rt 30 and I-55. Alot has to do with the model of phone you have. Check your hardware.

Gotta love my SonyEricsson T62u. When there is poor GSM coverage, it switches to TDMA. I have found almost no place that I have no coverage.

It used to be touch and go with my old phone. But since I upgraded to the Treo 650, I haven't had any problems with reception.

Alwys had reliable service in West Joliet and downtown Joliet - even indoors

New tower southeast of Herscher a few months ago. Now I get good reception. Recommend Verizon. Now they need to work on service to the southwest side of Kankakee

3 Miles west of Rt. 47 and 2 miles south of Emington. After ditching Nextel, we went with At&t. Though I seem to get better coverage than most with my phone, I have no complaints. it's not bad at all for the area. Just be sure to get a phone that rates with good reception. Did hear a rumor that the recent up in dropped calls is because we only have one tower in the area and it's being over used. Maybe they'll put a new one up. *crosses fingers, holds breath, passes out*

I can get reception in most locations. If I'm inside an older building or in a basement, reception is rough. Otherwise it's just fine.

Never Drop calls with this phone. Occasionally dropped calls with old Verizon Phone but newer phones work great.

Poor reception in house and below average outside of house.

It really depends on the phone. The Iphone sucks, Nokia N95 is good. I think Nokia has the best antenna.

Inside my four unit building, getting a connection is a real gamble. when I'm on the 2nd floor it seems fine, but my apt is not on the 2nd floor! I have found out that there is a tower about 5 to 10 minutes from me but I still get poor reception lately. It could be the trees around here. Im not in a forest but Im just saying. Now when Im outside I have no problems. I have, in the past few months, used a Nokia express music phone with my tmoble service and had the same results and answers from customer service abot call quality, droped calls and no connection. So is tmoble worth it? you decide!. I can be on the bus over by the mall and reception is great. Or, I can be in the walmart in bradley all the way at the back of the store with all the raacks and steel beams between me and a clear shot of the sky and still get great recepionn. But as for the service problems inside my apt., Tmoble in my opinion is and has since May, not given me any clear answers.

It's great in the city of Kankakee but little or no recpetion everywhere else.
