AT&T
Maseeh Hall on the MIT campus has extremely poor AT&T cell phone reception inside the dorm. I called AT&T customer service today and they basically said that they had good signals in the area and they blamed the "Maseeh architecture" for the poor indoor reception. After having been a AT&T customer for the last 30 or so years, I'm switching to Verizon. Verizon customers have much better reception inside Maseeh.

Reception varies between bad and none, even outside on the Broadway sidewalk. I thought AT&T was bad for dropped calls, but they at least consistently delivered 3G. I am just trying switching to T-Mobile, and if they don't get their act together I'm cancelling; this is unacceptable.

I have bars and I have 3G showing and yet my apps fail, my internet sits and spins, and calls are fuzzy or drop every 20-30 seconds. I have horrible reception here in South Boston but also on the commuter train, in Back Bay and in the Financial District. I actually passed my destination because my phone's GPS said I was still 4 blocks away and it even had me indicated 3 streets over from where I was. The cell service in this city is horrific let alone trying to use data. It just plain doesn't work.

had good reception in my apartment for 9 years. now the sound cuts out all the time. I can only hear every 4th word of the caller and vice versa. I contacted Sprint and they claimed they are upgrading to 4G in my area.

I have no data at all in my building. I am paying $100 per month. ATT is the biggest rip off going. Can"t wait to switch!

No service at all whatsoever if you are going in the basement or Lower Level floors in any of the hospitals. It is the worst! Even in higher level floors, service is very crappy. And the only reason I switched is because someone was paying my phone bill! I am so disappointed with T-Mobile!

Even though t-mobile's coverage map shows us with great reception, it ain't so. We just switched from Verizon to T-Mobile for their prepaid service, and we have had really bad voice reception (barely intelligible), texts are not coming through, and forget the data. Stinks.

Always - not always perfectly - could get reception here with Verizon. Dumb phone.

Very poor reception. I'm thinking of leaving ATT for Straight Talk Wireless. Don't know if signals will be any better with ST and new phone, but couldn't possibly be any worse. AT&T definitely not worth their data / rate charge for this service.

Reception OK on Street, absent indoors; don't have twenty words unless I have to repeat or filibuster this
