Verizon,is the best of the worst in Kingston. I rarely ever have service anywhere I go. The only time I am able to use my phone is when I am connected to wifi. Texts never send and my phone calls usually dropWas this review helpful to you?
Cell reception is intermittent with frequent inability to even get a signal. When I do get a signal it's only 2-3 bars with reception limited to one spot at the end of my bed- leave that spot and I lose the signal. For past two days in Feb. 2015 blizzards, no service at all. Extremely frustrating but neighbors with different carriers have equally poor reception. Consumers should report complaints to the FCC. It is an outrage to pay full fees for s h consistently lousy service in Plymouth. Was this review helpful to you?
Absolutely horrid reception in this part of town, 0-1 bars even outside. Calls impossible to make inside. Had to get a landline (yes in 2014!) just to be able to receive and make calls. Seems to affect other carriers as well as AT&T, T-Mobile etc. Duxbury reception is garbage, other towns like Marshfield, Pembroke and Kingston do not have this problem. Duxbury needs cell phone towers and I don't know what the problem is! Town cell phone reception grade: FWas this review helpful to you?
Texts usually go through, calls are static-laced and often cut in and out (but don't drop). Data connection is nearly useless (over 5min to load a webpage and usually have to reload it because it glitched and didn't display right). My USC hotspot for wifi is completely useless. Not officially part of the USC territory, so they're unapologetic (their attitude is my moving here is a breach of contract). Was this review helpful to you?
Rt. 3a in Manomet. Lousy reception... usually 1-2 bars no LTE. Cannot use internet without wifi. Traveling south to Cedarville even worse. Always dropped calls. Sagamore Beach must have a tower... full bars LTE.Was this review helpful to you?
Nearly always one bar. Calls constantly dropped. Obviously towers near coastline are needed. It's 2014 what is problem. Stick one on high school and have town benefit from lease. Was this review helpful to you?
We just moved 5 lines from Verizon to T-Mobile to save $150 a month. T-Mobile's coverage map shows "Good" Coverage at our house, meaning that 4G works and we can surf the web. The reality is that we have NO SERVICE to ONE BAR and drop every call. Their service representative asked me to call them back from a landline as they couldn't hear me; so I called them from my Verizon line - perfect reception. I feel hugely mislead by these people...Was this review helpful to you?
ALMOST OBSOLETE, CANT EVER MAKE A CALL, INCOMING GOES RIGHT TO VOICEMAIL, TEXT MAVE DELAYS UP TO 30 minutes guaranteed 5. I leave home to make calls. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon is much better than Sprint in this area. Data is a bit slower than in NYC on my 3g Blackberry but I always have a decent signal. Voice calls are fine. Was this review helpful to you?
