AT&T

Cingular works very well in the Cincinnati area, it is definatley the best carrier in the area, or any area for that matter. So if you are cell phone shopping around Cincinnati, Cingular is the way to go.

I cant believe Nextel is still in this business... When I get a call, it drops.. I cant recall getting a call that didnt drop.. and push to talk is getting worse and worse, I guess they are overloading circuits because I get busy all the time.. My friend that just got Cingular service is raving about it.. Freaking 2-year contract..

I should have got a pager. Spotty variable reception. When most calls come in they are lost within ten to twenty seconds. Lousy reception due to overtaxed circuits in this area. The phone will show a good signal (5 bars) until you try to use it. Because the circuits are actually filled to capacity the network then switches you to an antenna further away almost as soon as you are receiving or making call, you get 1 bar or less and the call is lost. *************************************** Verizon Spokes-Dork: "Can you hear me now?" Verizon Customer: "Huh?" Verizon Spokes-Dork: "Good."

I have had it with Sprint! The service is absolutely awful not only in my apt, but everywhere in the neighborhood. If I could only switch, I would in a sec, but those a**holes have me on a contract until 2007. humf.

Just got Cingular and I'm amazed at the how well it serves inside my office building. Had other carriers in the past and I would always drop on the higher floors.

According to the cell tower map... there's a tower ON our building. While my phone indicates a decent signal (3 to 4 bars), the quality is awful. Reception is full of dropouts and garbled sound. Moving near a window does not help. St.level is OK. We have found that virtually all carriers have similar problems... thus indicating some type of signal interference or crowdedness.

Had AT&T for years - everything perfect until 6 / 28 / 05--told to switch to Cingular for GSM-- which I did after a week of problems--told a tower for digital was being "deconstructed"-told they don't guarantee reception indoors-told everything is okay when they test it from their end and it must be a neighbor blocking the signal and I should ask around. Terrible AT&T customer service--nicer customer service for Cingular on the phone, terrible in the Cingular store no one has answers. Signal goes up and down only in the building, and depending on where you are in the apartment.

Inside the apartment, I would rate my service poor to terrible. I am lucky to get two bars. The calls are dropped constantly. Conversations are choppy. I would be grateful to hear from anyone in my area who is happy with their cell phone service. I would like very much to change carriers. Thanks.

Decent in apartment. Sitting about 15 feet from window. Sound quality is fair, with occassioinal pops and cracks.

Singal is good in this area(indoor / outdoor). But when I get into Penn. Station the signal is unpredictable.
