T-Mobile

On this block and in my building, I get perfect reception. When moving toward the inner part of the building, signal strength drops slightly, but I still retain the ability to make calls even inside the elevator.

Surprisingly good reception. Absolutely no problems outside and fairly reliable inside (even in the bathroom :-) Overall, I didn't have too many complaints about Sprint in the city. I could make long taxi rides on the phone without dropped calls. Not that it even comes close to quality of service in Europe or Asia, but that's another story.

In my apartment on the 2nd floor I have to be sitting beside one particular window facing south to get one bar if I'm lucky. Boyfriend has Sprint with no problems with reception. I have to add that I have a very small year old phone that I didn't buy through the carrier (unlocked), which might be contributing to the problem, but I get good reception elsewhere in the city.

Just changed my old Motorola V60c (brilliant) after 2.5 years. Verizon reception perfect everywhere, can even take it in the bathroom. Just got this weekend Motorola V265 and had to change it after 48 hours - no sound, bad connection, static and dropping calls. Second new V265 brilliant - so far! Verizon is the best - with AT+T my partner has to hang outside my apartment window to get even one bar!

Service is okay in the streets but weird thing is that service is never steady. It changes rapidly when i get into buildings. There is no service in buildings while my boyfriend with an AT&T phone has excellent service.

The reception is good throughout however once you get into buildings reception is weak or none. If you want a service which is good throughout AT&T would be the one.

I've had this phone for over a year and I'm having zero problems. Always get full signal. The only thing that sucks is, they don't offer their service on the Treo 650 yet.

Absolutely awful and unuseable. Phone rings, reads great signal strength (3-4 bars) but everything is garbled. Apparently people can hear me, but I can't make out anything they say in a radius of about 1 block (every direction) from here. This is where I live.

Reception is fine when I am outside but when I am in a building there is little to no reception.

T-Mobile sucks in this area. I've seen an AT&T GSM phone work here, where mine doesn't.
