i don't know why everyone complains about sprint. Had it for 10 years, never had a problem with reception. Except when I lived in brooklyn heights for a year. bad reception in my brownstone. In manhattan, jersey, ct and Mass, there are no problems. Don't remember the last time I had a call dropped. Was this review helpful to you?
OK reception on street but no reception in my apt. After several calls to 611 I got to "Level 2" and after 72 hour delay got to "Advance Tech" but still no reception in my apt 17 st and 3rd. Reason they gave: "No budget for new tower."Was this review helpful to you?
Great service outdoors most of the time, but sometimes you just get unlucky and get a lot of background noise in your calls. I noticed that it was around Broadway and 8th that this usually happened, so maybe it's just the surrounding stuff there. Just as great in buildings but beware of elevators! elevators = dropped calls. Was this review helpful to you?
main train sta. commuting hub! most areas none or poor. Verizon much betterWas this review helpful to you?
From our apartment, it alternates between 5 bars and 0 without apparent reason. Quality is sporadic, I often get "network error" when I try to connect and calls get dropped without counting as "dropped calls" in their stats because it just goes silent but doesn't disconnect. It drives me crazy when I see their "fewest dropped calls" ads because they claim I have no dropped calls because one or the other party ends up hanging up after a minute of silence. Argh! Was this review helpful to you?
I am working on the 48th Floor. Reception is poor, i.e., I direct the phone towards the window in a vain attempt to keep and signal, but calls are dropped, and emails / Web services are interrupted. Was this review helpful to you?
sweeping signal: full strength to no bars to no service and then roaming. weird. Was this review helpful to you?
In buildings, out of buildings, upstairs, downstairs, in the basement. Reception if perfect. Was this review helpful to you?
The inner units of this building (meaning those facing the patios, not the street) get no reception from Cingular. It's worse on the lower floors. This has been the case for the last 3 years. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon Wireless has foremost the best reception than any wireless carrier. I had T Mobile and Cingular and they really need to upgrade on their network. I never had a problem with thier network wherever I go. Especially out of the tri-state. They do work under some the #6 Train stations, Chambers and Essex St.on the J Train and in Atlantic Ave. and Borough Hall on the #4 train. I was shocked to recieve reception with them waiting on the 1st car of the Manhattan bound F and V train in 34 street / Herald Square ( 1, 2 bars though. )Was this review helpful to you?
