This is the WEIRDEST thing - I get 5 bars of 3G service in my office here, but absolutely NOTHING will load or work. I tested it out by dialing my cell from my work phone... and my cell phone didn't even ring. Makes no sense. I get better service and reception on interstate 84 up in Orange County than I do in midtown Manhattan. HOW. WHY.Was this review helpful to you?
Holy ATT is bad in this area. Dropped calls, no calls, no data, slow data its miserable! They said they added wifi to relieve congestion, but even the wifi doesn't work well! What *IS* it with this company?!Was this review helpful to you?
Spotty. Many dropped calls. Speakerphone 'on' offers better sound but that's compared to horrible when speakerphone is 'off.'Was this review helpful to you?
Lost reception last week Wednesday April 13th. Don't know why reception dropped to zero. I think it might have been a tower issued but ATT is no help with that. I really hope this won't last long because it's our only phone and I work from home. Just another note, went to ATT on Lex and 45th st and it took less than 10 seconds (not kidding) for the guy to tell me I need a new phone because the battery is dead even though the phone is 3 months old. He said "that's electronic stuff, it just stops working"Was this review helpful to you?
T-mobile sucks, especially if you are attending Baruch College. It just loses signals right after I entered the building. I think I should switch to Verizon. Was this review helpful to you?
I think there is a troll here. Verizon service is solid. I hated my Incredible. The service sucked on it because it was the device. iPhone shows 5 bars where Droid showed 2-1 bars. Speeds are fast, too. Just got 2.4Mbps.Was this review helpful to you?
Service has never been great, but in the past 2 or 3 months, it is almost nonexistant. More than half the time, I cannot get a call through at all. Nor can I receive one. Other times, I get through but I hear my own voice echo back and the party I am calling can hear me but I can't hear them. If I do get through, the call is often dropped and I need to try again. AT&T PLEASE get your act together in NYC (especially in the Village). I can only take so much more of this until I will have to defect! Was this review helpful to you?
Wow, I don't know what happened. Suddenly I got 5 bars of service in the Lower East Side. Previously barely 1 bar. I was even using a M-Cell but tonight the new 5 bars are bumping me off the microcell because the AT&T signal is stronger. Well, 'bout time. Was this review helpful to you?
On 11th St.or 12th St.walking between University Place and 6th Avenue, I get dropped calls consistently. Also, in my apartment on 10th and University I get very poor reception that has seemed to have gotten worse in the three years I've lived here. It's really nerve racking, though I'm hoping that it will get better as iPhone customers defect to Verizon in January. Was this review helpful to you?
I work in 49th and 6th. I am in edge most of the time, without 4G coverage. When I do get it the signal is so bad I can't even check my email. Even when I leave the building and I try from the street the signal is weak. This is Times Square, the center of Manhattan. If we don't get good service from AT&T here, what are we to expect? Was this review helpful to you?
