T-Mobile
The only times I have five bars is when I’m in a train station and only as long as I don’t use the MTA WiFi. If I am at home and on the phone with someone and move two inches in any direction, I lose my signal even though the call remains connected. I work in Times Square. If I receive calls on my cell phone anywhere in the area that isn’t garbled or goes in and out, I consider myself lucky. Never mind using the internet in that area unless I use the WiFi at my job. I have complained about this to Thief-Mobile for at least two years and each time I’m told service is being upgraded. For whom? When I complain, there is improvement for a few months then it goes back to the same bs. What’s really going on?? I only have a few payments on my phone then I’m leaving this provider.

I am on MetroPCS which rides on T-Mobile. I used to have 2 to 3 bars in my apartment on the second floor in 2017. Now in 2018 I get zero reception most of the time and cannnot make nor receive calls and text. I tried every thing and I am on the verge of switching. Very poor service

Over the last decade Verizon’s cell signal has degraded over the years. The calls drop frequently and or have no service. The lte data is poor if not unusable. If it wasn’t for optimum WiFi I’d have a paper weight.

Poor reception with my iPhone 6s 4G LTE network. Slow internet loads, slow social media connection, long waits for apps to download, message failure and horrible talk service. On the 1st floor in a tenement building.

Was trying to figure out what carrier to choose because AT&T SUCKS. I work from home and luckily can do most of my work via email, etc. because most of the time I have ONE BAR! All I do is text because having an actual conversation is torture with dropped reception and dropped calls!

I’m on the 4th floor of an 8 story bldg and have zero phone reception. Zero! Well, I used to have one bar. Sometimes if I stand in my bath tub, I get a signal. Sometimes. To make a phone call, I have to go outside. Beyond awful.

Switched from Sprint (bad service) to T-Mobile due to the great prices on unlimited plans. However, I was getting poor reception in the Bronx and no reception at all in my apartment. I was getting voicemails without the phone ringing and I wasn't receiving text messages. I ended up cancelling in less than 2 weeks and paying a restocking fee. I switched to Verizon, which is way more expensive but has earned their rep for having excellent coverage. Unfortunately, I no longer have an unlimited plan due to Verizon's high prices... but at least I'm get my phone calls and text messages now.

It used to be okay at least on the northern side of the apartment but now with new construction in the area it rarely works.

I was with T-Mobile since the beginnings in the late 90’s when first it was named VoiceStream. VoiceStream one of the best prepaid companies during that time. I’ve worked in the lower Manhattan for 20 years in the area of Soho zip code 10032, never had any problems. But, since about 1 year ago where I work the signal strength when from 5 bars to 0 bars which means no service at all in the basement. Only, wi fi calling were able. Even in the Bronx zip code 10472, at my house the signal when down from 5 bars to 2 bars strength. So, I switched to At&t, a little more expensive but grate service where I live and work, in the mountains where I go camping excellent service, out of the states, on the coast near the ocean (beach). I was the only one that had service of all of my family and now everybody switched to AT&T in my family. 😊😊😊 T-Mobile We never had service in those places. ☹️☹️☹️ Over all, very happy with the new company At&t.

If I could attach a picture so you guys can see that my service is spectacular I would. I've been a Verizon customer since January 2017 and my service has been spectacular. I started with the iPhone SE 3 months later I upgraded to the 6S bigger screen n camera. I get a very good service usually 3 to 4 bars everywhere I go. sometimes 2bars of service but I feel like that only happens when I'm getting deprioritized because I've used a lot of Internet. But I still get speeds anywhere from 70-140mpbs down and 30mpbs up. I have 24 / 7 tech coach support. I don't find them very helpful bc sometimes I feel like I do all of the talking but whatever. Overall I give Verizon 4 out of 5 stars I give them 4 / 5 because of the unhelpful technical support department it seems like they always want to do the same troubleshooting even though you're telling them something completely opposite.
