AT&T

95% of the time I have no cell signal - calls cannot get in nor can I send or receive text unless I go downstairs to my building and literally point my phone to the sky. It's complete B.S. that I pay for this service and not to get at least 2 bars in my building. I have a Verizon phone and I lay it side-by-side on my desk and the Verizon service is always up and running. HINT!

Used to be ok until 2 weeks ago, now I can't make or receive a call at home.

I have been a loyal AT&T customer for the past 5 years but I can't take this anymore. I cannot get any data coverage in my office and half the time my calls go straight to voicemail. I am just waiting for Samsung's next release and then will be switching to Verizon.

Kicked the bucket with Sprint. T-Mobile works excellent here. Consistently high data speeds and no dropped calls, both indoors and out. In large buildings, sometimes signal can vary. But overall good.

Verizon is great- live in queens and work in midtown. no dropped calls, data is fast enough and dependable.

I don't know what happened but my iPhone 3GS has poor reception in NY Penn Station now. The phone will say 3G is connected but all apps can't fin an internet connection 80% of the time. Edge connection is alittle better, connection happens 50% of the time. Voice / SMS happens about 50% of the time. AT&T needs to improve their reception or I am moving to another carrier.

I have been with Sprint for 5 years. Never had any issues. For the last 4 MONTHS in my apartment: I have had so MANY dropped calls in my apartment(even near windows), occasional delayed texts, occasions where voice mails just pop up without the phone ever ringing at times up to 2-3 hrs later after the missed call. Data is faster early in the morning and after 7 / 8pm. Outdoor and indoor coverage (in most large buildings) is excellent otherwise for calls / texts (sometimes roaming; but it's free). I guess i'm just in a bad spot in my neighborhood.

Tmobile 4G. I have zero reception 95% of the time in midtown NYC. I also have a Verizon blackberry on 3G network and that works great at the same location.

Barely get 3g service here. Service is bad inside and outside.

voice is OK. Data is useless here. I am on the 11th floor near the window. Most of the time during 9 - 5, there is no data connection. If there is one, the connection speed is 3G rather than 4G.
