Sprint

Terrible service, no LTE, and extremely rude and clueless customer service. So glad that I finally left Sprint. Their coverage is nonexistent as well as LTE and their 3G speeds are slower than dial-up. I had them for about three years and in those three years I have never seen any improvements for the network in Staten Island or Brooklyn. Manhattan has gotten better but is not even close to the other carriers

Just switched to T-Mobile, everywhere that I have gone I have had LTE service and great call quality. So far I have tested it in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. LTE speeds are great

I've had Verizon, Sprint and now have T-Mobile and have to say that all of the carriers do not provide good service. With all the billions generated and prices of the phones, it is a shame that services has not improved over the years. Barely receive bars, comes and goes as if the wind is affecting it. The only true service I have is via my WiFI - which why should I continue to pay a cell provided if I'm making calls only via my WIFI. TMobile is not providing me the service for what I pay. I'm waiting for my contract to be up so I can drop TMOBILE

90% of Phone calls go to voicemail. If they make it through, they are quickly dropped. Internet and data services do not work. Customer service has been aware of the issue for the three years I've been working in the area, yet nothing has been done. F-

I've had cell phones for over 20 years, and I can't stand any of these companies. If it's not one thing it's another; their billing errors, their lousy customer service, their poor service, something. The only good thing that there is competition, something one doesn't get with those other ba**stards, the television and internet providers. I still wait for the day when we can use a super phone to provide us with enough power to pick up a wireless signal for a laptop / tablet, instead of paying for the service twice.

I put my wife on Virgin Mobile (Sprint Network). It is pretty lousy in the Eltingville area. Prices are great ($55 for unlimited everything) but you get what you pay for. Hey I may coin that expression. I just switched to Verizon so I can certain if she needs to make a call, it will go through.

I originally had a Sprint blackberry and for 4 years it was terrible. I had to go outside to get a bar or two if I was lucky. My contract was up so I switched carriers and went to AT&T. It is better than Sprint was and more reliable but still have dropped calls. I had a work phone that was Verizon which was a little better but it blows me away that I live in a New York City borough and cant get decent signal on my cell phone. Maybe T-Mobile is better but 3 out of 4 carriers have poor / fair reception.

Horrible reception. Always dropping calls. It was always bad and worse since Sandy. Verizon is trying to get over on me and telling me I have to upgrade my phone. It's an iPhone 4. How is a new phone going to change the fact that there is a lack of cell phone towers in the area. All the people I know that have Verizon in GK have the same problem!
