The best place I get reception is in my room and if that the case I might as well just use my own Home phone, I have to go all the way to mill basin for good reception.

No in coming or out going calls, none day or night. If you go 5 blocks in eather direction from location phone works.

Owned this phone for about 2 1/2 years now and I must say the best phone you could ever own. It was so good nextel decided to make the I88s a composite of the i85s. I got reception where ever I was even with virtually no signal strenth I was still able to communicate without audio interference. I never got a drop call and I was able to get reception at certain area's under the subway. Funny when I did everyone one started to check their cell phones to see if they too had reception. But with great disapointment they didn't. I Highly recommend nextel and this phone.

If a fly flew over my head I lost service. I didn't last long with T-Mobile aka Voicestream.
