AT&T
Just moved to Williamsburg. Phone shows 3 / 4 bars and LTE yet I can’t make a call or use the internet! Absolutely shocking coverage! Can anyone recommend the best provider for Williamsburg??

One bar most of the time. Calls are often dropped. Just pathetic service in the largest city in the USA. After 10+ years, goodbye AT and T...

most of the time I could not get any bars inside the house or out on the street in front of the house or in the garden in the back. Had to walk 1 / 2 block toward 6th Ave to get receptionl

few bars; sometimes no connection at all; always being told that reception is poor

I live in the canarsie area of Brooklyn and cellular service over here with The mobile is low or next to non existent. I also work at JFK airport and I have the same issues here. There is not one reason I should be paying 80 dollars a month for a phone I cannot use. Or getting voicemails from people with my phone on my pocket that does not ring

Sometime mid-summer all cell reception in my limestone apt. building went from really bad to almost non-existent. Not just me, not just my carrier, EVERY carrier, every person - Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile. I have Metro PCS, which was never all that great around the city, but it worked in my apartment and is only $40 inclusive. I used to be able to receive calls anywhere in my bedroom at the rear of the building and living room and front storeroom off living room at the front of the building. I used to be able to dial calls to connection when sitting on my bed between the windows, and in my living room. That all changed. There is one awkward little spot in my storeroom that will allow me to dial out SOMETIMES. I bought an unlocked phone not realizing I would not be allowed to call over wifi, as that is only for phones locked into a specific character - this should be against the law. My living room and bedroom are now completely dead. At a window it will say 3 or 4 bars, until I dial, when it drops to NO BARS. Incoming calls go to voicemail, but I cannot call voicemail because I cannot call out. I cannot even make a call on the sidewalk, I must walk almost all the way to Garfield Place, or 3rd St.before my phone will allow a dial to go through to a connection. Something happened over the summer. A cell tower malfunction? Change in bandwidth? I rent, but this is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the city, where dwellings can cost $6M. How can NYC allow people to not be able to use their telephones in their homes????? Is this some bribery scheme to force people to return to land lines if they want to be able to make a call from their home? This is scandalous and no one in city government seems to care or want to do anything about it.

Constantly getting dropped calls. Phone static, text messages are not being sent out. Practically no signal on Broadway.

Phone never rings. Get notification for voice message and then can't get them unless I'm in a certain corner of my apartment. Dropped calls galore. Delayed text messages. Sorry that I got this service and switching asap!
