Sprint

The inability of both AT&T and Sprint to provide a reliable signal to customers who live and work in Center City Philadelphia high rises is appalling. Whether in my 25th floor office or my 23rd floor home, my Sprint service is constantly dropping calls, having no reception, and draining the cell phone battery like mad. My prior AT&T service was no better. There should be sufficient towers within the city to serve higher levels in buildings. There clearly is not.

reception is fine. but NO CALLS GET THROUGH. sometimes I have to dial 7+ times to reach someone, and texting is a nightmare of holding the phone in my hands and constantly resending mssgs over and over. lately it's been especially bad, dropped calls and network failures.

Have had Nextel for 5 years. Had i60 c and now i830. never had a problem with coverage, especially in older bldg's throughout mainline. Work from center city, to center county at penn state (heavy mountains) to Pittsburgh and on the roads in between. Great coverage, strong signal both with DC and phone. Odd, but no signal in grocery stores. Also have tmobobil using hotspots at home. Have Nokia with UMA. Great coverage across mainline and ardmore to king of prussia, no signal break from wireless to GSM, and free minutes when on wireless.

"Emergency call only" signal appear. I can't not able to call inside home. This is upgraded phone for my old phone but I don't see any improvement. We have power outage often then I am out of luck. I have to manually open the garage door and drive out to make a call reporting power outrage. This is insane considering high property taxes and phone services we are paying.

Inside of home zero bar (Emergency only signal showes up). To talk we had to go outside to talk on mobile phone.

I agree that Verizon cell reception is poor in Marple Twp. But what I noticed is that your map is missing a large new cell tower on Delaware County Community College property. It's tall. I easily see it above all the trees out my window. I walked by it and don't remember what carriers are using it except I know Verizon was not one of them.

Clear signal, no dropped calls... even works in my basement. Verizon is pricy, but worth it in my experience.

Occasionally signal comes through. Phone spends half the time searching for a signal, the other half with one to two bars. Constantly dropping calls.

Overall good reception except when i'm at school... but then again everybody has spotty service there. my reception may go down a little in my house but you can still carry on a decent conversation... i only had about 2 dropped calls in an area where I was supposed to have service in the past 15 months

2-3 bars inside, 3-4 outside. Only one dropped call since September, and I use it often. Much better reception than Cingular down here in this little valley. Friends who have TMobile also report good reception.
