These guys are just pathetic. I'm switching to Verizon as soon as the contract is upWas this review helpful to you?
Well the use of a "Reception Rating" doesn't adequately reflect my experience with T-Mobile in Philadelphia. When I moved to Philly, I purchased the best phone out there, the Galaxy S2, drooling to take advantage of T-Mobile's "The Nations Fastest 4G Network". So the reality of the situation, while in Center City (where I work and live), I almost always have 4-5 bars of signal which the phone thinks is 4G. However the data service while in 4G is HORRIBLE! Let me say it again, HORRIBLE. Most often my data service is non-existant and if it does happen to work, VERY VERY VERY SLOW. I actually stopped by the T-Mobile store on Market St., and was told that "We know there is a problem with 4G, there is only a single 4G tower for all of Center City. We recommend you put the phone into GSM mode (ie 2G) and us it that way." WOW, so let me get this straight, I just purchased a $500+ phone and you think it is OK to simply use 2G for data.. give me a break! To T-Mobiles credit, I have complained enough that they now credit be $5 / month more than what I pay for the service, so I will stick it out hoping for better service in the future. But for a new customer looking for 4G in Philly, look to Verizon or there, dont even consider T-Mobile.Was this review helpful to you?
what is the point of owing the best phone if you network sucks. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T's service in this area is literally a black hole for cell reception. Costumer Server is useless and even repairing / adding new towers has do little to nothing in improving this. What a joke... Do yourself a favor and give AT&T the big middle finger and switch to Verizon or T-Mobile.Was this review helpful to you?
Never get a 4 or 5 bar signal in my house. The most I get is 3 to a 2. Thought Verizon was a great company so moved from Sprint Bad move! UghhhhWas this review helpful to you?
Started work here, and even in the parking lot, there is ZERO reception. Very disappointing as this is a highly populated area and not in the middle of nowhere. Was this review helpful to you?
Throughout this area, my reception is poor, often reverting to 1x coverage for data. Dropped calls or dropped sound during a call is common. I'm quite disappointed in the coverage in our area. Was this review helpful to you?
Terrible reception. I've lived in Ardmore for two years and my calls are constantly dropped. Makes talking on the phone very frustrating. Sometimes texts do not send or arrive without a delay. Was this review helpful to you?
I get zero reception inside my house. This is a known problem with TMobile. When I called customer service they said they are aware of the problem but have no time estimate on when it will be corrected. In the mean time I can stand outside to make my calls. What! I moved here from Glenside (less than three miles away) were reception was fine. I believe TMobile purposely reduces the signal in some areas in order to market their pay by the month cell phone booster. It is not in their best interest to fix the signal if they can generate additional revenue by offering the 'booster' package. Why should I have to pay more for what I should already have. Was this review helpful to you?
If there was an option between Poor and Below Average, I would've gone for that.. Ideall its not even 2.. its 1.5.. I would not advice anyone one to go for T-mobile..Was this review helpful to you?
