Love Verizon it gets reception when I need it to and I can sometimes even get reception underground on the train. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception's perfect in my home near Argyle and throughout Lower Merion - even Narberth at the ball fields - signal is 2 bars indoors at City Ave and Haverford, but consistent. 3 Blocks on Haverford and 4 blocks on Bryn Mawr Ave (Penn Valley) are tougher and some calls break up. Just tried Sprint and sent the Samsung A900s back because I couldn't get signals in the same places. Was this review helpful to you?
barely keep signal on second floor standing at open window. Very annoying need to keep away from all electronic otherwise kaput! Verizon said to update roaming dialing *228 and that made it even worse. Think of Sprint as they are supposed to be good around hereWas this review helpful to you?
If you're on a call, it drops at this intersection, or in any of the nearby business / church parking lots. If you try to make a call most of the time nothing happens. Was this review helpful to you?
The reception has been great all over Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. Outside of an occasional dropped call I can't report any cellular war stories. I've been in basements, elevators, on highways, and in the countryside and have always been able to make some sort of connection. I must say I also love the Kyocera brand. The handsets features are very easy to navigate. And Verizon seems to be the only company in Philly carrying them Verizon is more expensive and I'm experimenting by switching to T-Mobile using a Samsung x475? phone---I'm holding my breath hoping the experiment doesn't tank... and have a sinking sensation that I will be back to Verizon within the 20 return windowWas this review helpful to you?
VERY close to a tower, very good reception. I have always at least 3 bars wherever I go when in belmont hills. Was this review helpful to you?
Basically no reception indoors. Unpredictably variable outdoors, from 5 bars to no reception. Was this review helpful to you?
Cingular has great coverage here with signal even indoors in elevators. I used to have T-Mobile but due to poor cell coverage in this area, I switched. Was this review helpful to you?
Coverage is fine in about 1 / 2 of the hospital; the ground floor of most buildings and the Rhoades building have poor-no coverage. Total deadspot in the ground floor hallway between Rhoades and Silverstein. Best reception in the upper floors of Founders and Silverstein. Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint reception is great throughout Havertown, Ardmore and Drexel HillWas this review helpful to you?
