i was told by virgin mobil there was an outtage and wouldnt be restored until 4 / 21 / 1012 no service since sunday

I have some issues with data or getting connected and staying connected. I have pre paid and I have been having problems with the data portion of reception I pay $ 60.00 which includes unlimited talk and text and 2gs of data. The phone has been reset and checked. There is a problem with the towers, I suspect.

We have been dealing with this for a year now. Called ATT twice about it. We get 2 bars, then 3, then 1, then none. We drop calls all the time. It is embarrassing given that we use them for business. ATT is very bad. They keep sending me free minutes and discount certificates... all well and good until the phone drops during a client call. We need better competition.

Service has been spotty at best for past couple of weeks. My husband and my brother around the corner have had the same problem. Apparently there is a disintegrating ATT tower that needs to be fixed!

I can't use my Verizon phone at all in my house. I have never had this problem anywhere with Verizon, but up and down Montgomery Ave, the service is terrible

For the past month or so I have repeatedly lost both voice and data service inside my apt. not just on my Blackberry but also my netbook which is with A T and T. I have lived in this apt. for over 6 years and never had this issue until recently. I often am unable to get any signal at all for hours at a time which is frustrating and also very upsetting since I have no other phone.

I have been using Verizon cell service at my home for 3 years and have not had problems until recently. Now I can only talk on the phone standing in one spot throughout the entire house without getting a "signal faded- call lost" message. I am disconnected at least 2x per phone call. I would use my Verizon land line more, but that doesn't get a dial tone when the internet is on and hasn't been ringing recently. We pay more then a car payment for these Verizon services and they are horrendous. Switching asap!

Have to stand in the middle of the street to place a call, and it still fades in and out, and eventually (3-7 mins into call) will drop. Very frustrating and does not depend on time of day. DEFINITELY can't send multimedia texts from inside our outside my house, and if I hold the phone to the window indoors, _sometimes_ a plain text message will send.

A T and T service is terrible in my part of Lansdowne. It drops 4 out of 5 calls inbound and outbound. They want me to pay $200 for a Femtocell unit to give me the service that I am already paying for. By the way, I am located within sight of Philly's downtown buildings. That puts me in the midst of a huge population center, so what's their excuse?
