I switched from Verizon to AT&T because I went on my fiance's family plan. Worst decision ever. I went from FULL bars to TWO bars, sometimes I get NO bars. AT&T should be embarrassed of themselves! My Verizon bill was a lot more expensive but now I know why. You pay for what you get and with AT&T--you get nothing in return for your loyalty.Was this review helpful to you?

In my house maybe 2 bars, go outside of my house and doesn't change, figure if outside should be full bars right?? Wrong. I call AT&T and they tell me they barely have any towers around this area in philly, Actually rent one from Verizon, now who would rent from their most fierce rival. They are prolly paying a forture and Verizon not giving em any part of that tower, Cant be for signal to be so poor, God forbid if I go into my kitchen, call will drop or surrounded by a barricade, get like 1 bar, and from what I see from all other carriers theres not much of a choice to change to. For as many people that are in the Mayfair area u would think they would build more towers for as much money they make off of us, wheres it all go. Into the CEOs pockets while we are getting this shitty service and they dont care. Pisses me off. Something has to be done.Was this review helpful to you?

Coverage is good but contract costs are unethical. As technology improves, smartphone apps increase their complexity and older phones begin to underperform precipitously, basically forcing customers to upgrade. The catch is that you cannot upgrade without increasing your monthly service cost ($50 / month additional in my case). You cannot keep your existing plan and replace your phone. They hide the costs in plans like ATTNext, or terminate existing service agreements with you if you won't succumb to rip off installment plans. If you add up the costs of your new "30 month ATTNext" versus what you would pay at your current rate for the next 30 months, you can see the truth. This is not accounting for the cost of the phone. I mean costs above acquisition cost of replacement phone, which is approaching $1,000 for a good smart phone now.Was this review helpful to you?

The signal at home is ok as far as calls are concerned. However, there is no 4g and most times, there is no 3g. If I travel over 3 miles away from home I lose all of my services. No calls, no 3g and no 4g. What am I paying for!!!! Now, I see that the rest of the carriers are no different. We, as customers, need to revolt! Why are we being charged so much taxes for something that doesn't work? All the fanfare commercials for something that doesn't work!Was this review helpful to you?
In my house, Never get more than 1 or 2 bars, lose or drop calls, I have to go outside to finish a conversation sometimes. I am definitely looking for a better carrier, unfortunately, the choices are few. Verizon, at&t, t mobile, the rest aren't even worth mentioning as the coverage only gets worse. I could understand it if I lived in a more rural area, but I live in NE Phila, I know that there are thousands of people Like me. The carriers bribe congressman to pass laws favorable to them, why can't we, who elect the congressman, through democratic means, let them know how displeased we are. The carriers' service is neither cheap nor reliable, yet we keep paying for it with our collective mouths shut! We complain about in person or on social media, yet nothing has ever changed. I understand that there are more important issues that divide us, such as socio-economic, gender, race which may be more pressing. But on this, we can all agree, unanimously, that cellphone carriers brag about their superior service, charge us outrage fees for said service, while not delivering and not being held to account for their shortcomings. After all, we need our phones to be able to communicate with one another. So I pose this question to all; haven't you ever been on an important call, whether it was business or personal, and in the middle of it, the line either went silent, or dropped completely? One min. Reception then ten feet away no reception. If in a spot with reception and don't move fifteen min. Then call drops. Net is very slow and at time fair. It just rediculous. I stuck with Sprint through the good times as well as the bad... .its been about ten years. But now its too much. Too much B.S. and too much money. I think I'm through.Was this review helpful to you?
