First of all, I'm glad to have read the previous reviews (thanks for the laughs!). Not that I'm making fun, but misery loves company, I guess. I agree with others, Sprint used to be good... last year or so, the reception has gotten worse and worse. We live in NE, my daughter goes to elementary school in NW. I am ALWAYS dropping calls as I head across town. I've called Sprint a number of times to complain--they always "reassure me" that their computer shows I have 5 bars and "by the way" new towers are being built so that could be the cause of some bad (intermittent) reception. Sprint is a multi-billion dollar company (as are the others, I'm guessing), and if they cannot guarantee voice service in the nation's capital, then where can they?!? It's 2012, not 1996! Blah, horribly frustrated. We have two phones, Sprint customers for over 10 years, but we can't take it anymore! Thinking about AT&T, but some of you aren't optimistic about that either. Cost is a factor: we need data, text, and coverage at a good price. Seriously, $180 (plus tax)?

Sprint has the worst service in the area and not just at this location throughout hyattsville the service is sketchy. Their map for coverage lies and says its great but trust me if you have a Sprint phone and come over here you can forget about getting in contact with anyone.

Terrible cell service in 4 block radius from this intersection. 4G data connection great - but no voice or text service

Had Sprint for 15 years with no problems, 5 years at this location. About 2-3 months ago reception changed dramatically. Cannot make or receive calls / text and sometimes emails except for in 3rd floor home office - no reception anywhere else in or outside the house. Dropped calls as far away as South Dakota Avenue. Recent phenomenon, so what gives?

I always have 4 bars when I am in my house. In DC though, at my job, I get 3 bars and my colleague has AT&T and has full 5 bars! I've been with Sprint for three years now and in total i've probably had about 10 drop calls... .

Usually good, howevver, my cell connection with Sterling, VA - where my parents are in an elderly care residence = is horrid. When I call there from downtown, it's fine. From here, it's a loss. Have to get the lan line I cancelled years ago.
