Unless your cheek is pressed up against a window dont expect any signal. Constantly losing signals and dropping calls. Was this review helpful to you?
Live in the Woodner building with a large window facing a 3 walled courtyard that opens up into Rock Creek Park. Can't even hold a call with my face to the glass. I have found one 2 ft. radius when I have between 1 and 2 bars within my apartment. Other than that, my battery gets eaten up and I don't receive calls or texts in my home. Sucks. I'm in yuppieville in a major city, not living in a basement or something, and can't hold a phone call in my home. Verizon iPhone, you win.Was this review helpful to you?
Since last Sunday 10 / 10 / 10, Sprint has no service at this location. No calls can be made or received. No access to voice messages either. The same cellphone works in other places perfectly fine though. I have called customer service multiple times, they have no idea what is going on but one of the reps admitted that recently they have had outings in this area. Overall, very poor customer service. I will change my carrier as soon as I get a chance. Was this review helpful to you?
I work in Foggy Bottom and have found very good reception in DC. I regularly have 4-5 bars and my data service runs at full 3G speed. The only exception is the Metro, where calls drop in the tunnels and data service often falls back to RTT.Was this review helpful to you?
1 to 2 bars, have to go outside, or stand in the bathroom window behind the satellite dish to get reception to talk on the phone. Was this review helpful to you?
It is so frustrating to have to go outside to make a phone call. Switched to Verizon when they were the only ones that worked on the metro. Sprint worked better in my home. Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint's coverage is horrible. I drop calls, data is slow, and I cant' hear anyone! This phone is going back and I am getting Verizon. I heard they are great here. Coming from AT&T, I will be VERY happy! Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T is lucky they had the iphone for so long. I am switching the first chance I can to either Sprint or Verizon. Never thought I would change, but 3G service is so unreliable that it has become a liability to have my phone due to dropped calls and no calls coming in. Terrible, do not get AT&T if you are looking for new serviceWas this review helpful to you?
Signal strength is usually 1 bar and sometime no reception. I miss many calls everyday. Most people told me I am out of reach. I am thinking to try Verizon. What is your advice? Was this review helpful to you?
I have Verizon. The only place I don't get reception is in the tunnels of the Metro (the stations are fine) and at some bigger stores, such as Target. I live in Fairfax County and work in NW DC. Too bad Verizon doesn't believe in selling cutting edge phones. Was this review helpful to you?
