Verizon

I have a very poor reception in my office when I use Verizon wireless.

Usually none. Cingular also bad. Sprint and T-Mobile are excellent in this area (Taylor Park, Military Rd, etc.)

Constant problems due to poor antenna(s) placement or downtilts. Sorry, I use to work for Nextel years ago. Not much you can do other than to invest in a secondary phone (Tracfone or any of the other Pay as you go ones). I told the Nextel folks (if they bothered to listen... .) to have Micro Cells installed in dead spots and also the Metro tunnels. And it is 'doable'! NYS Empire Plaza has them in the concourses. Hope it helps if people keep posting their issues with coverage.

My apartment is adjacent to the GW undergraduate campus and my signal is spotty at best. It will be 4 bars one second and zero the next, without my having moved. It averages around one bar while inside buildings.

3-4 bars on ground floor of my townhouse, 0 bars in the basement. good reception outside

Reception inside of apartment is pretty terrible. Calls are usually dropped once or twice per conversation. Outside reception is fine. Not sure if the nearby airport or military installation would be affecting reception.

Terrible reception in medical school and in or around hospital. Anywhere else around Foggy Bottom is ok and around the undergrad campus is fine.
