I have great reception on Cingular in both Arlington, VA (home) and Rockville, MD (work). My only complaint is no service on the Metro. Was this review helpful to you?
I go to American University, where T-Mobile is partnered with us. The cell reception is great. Works almost everywhere for me. Very happy with T-Mobile. Cingular and Verizon coverage is good too although my friends pay more with them and and have more problems with both of those carriers. Was this review helpful to you?

Cingular keeps dropping my calls (a few every day) and the bars are always jumping around. At times I have no reception even when other Cingular customers around me do. I've been constantly calling their tech support, but they have no clue whats going on. They have already replaced my pone once, now way that the Nokia 1100 may just be a bad model, so I should upgrade. If I wasn't in a contract, I'd leave - I recommend that no one joins Cingular - they have been useless. I've asked them to cancel my contract but they wont - if they don't provide me with service I shouldn't have to pay for it. Cingular really sucks !Was this review helpful to you?
No reception again for the third time in a week! I think it is all former AT&T customers. Was this review helpful to you?

Horrible reception-- a few dead spots 15 feet from each other. Was told that on 14th St.there are broadcasting dishes that will interfere with Nextel reception... . T-Mobil customers do not have issues in this area- only NextelWas this review helpful to you?
I am receiving constant complaints that I cannot be heard on the other end of the line. Seldom if ever do I have problems hearing the other person, but seemingly on every other call I am told that I am breaking up. This is a relatively new development and the "number of bars" doesn't seem to be the problem. I also have a colleague with a similar model phone experienceing the same problem so I know it isn't a simply a defect in my phone. I have also updated my firmware and prl data so I am pretty much at a loss and extremely frustrated. Only a few months ago my calls were rock solid. What could have changed? Was this review helpful to you?
I always have five bars, but the calls drop after two minutes of talking to just about anyone. I had Verizon for a year before this and would recommend its' service. The Cingular service is not nearly as good. I wish I were not locked in for two years - if a cell phone company does not provide the service required of them, one should be able to discontinue service. Was this review helpful to you?
