Inside, I typically have 0-1 bars on the first floor of my home. Upstairs, I get 0-2 bars at best. Quality of calls is often poor (static / broken sound) and calls are dropped as often as not. Outside, reception is the same within at least a one block radius, sometimes further. When I use my phone at my parent's home in Northern Virginia, I always have 3-4 bars and excellent reception. Was this review helpful to you?
Most of the time, my T-Mobile is a lost kid being looked for by a parent like me. I am very frustrated to have such a signal in a city like Arlington. Planning to move and divorce t-mobil:)Was this review helpful to you?
Calls not infrequently go straight to voicemail and voicemails come back hours later. Was this review helpful to you?
I just bought a one month prepaid sim for use while visiting. I have had no reception for 95% of the time, while walking around Clarendon. I'm stunned. I used to have AT&T and never had a reception problem around here. Was this review helpful to you?
I live on the 5th floor of a 10 story building. Naturally, I was very nervous using Sprint's 3G network, but worry not it is incredibly fast. I get four or five bars throughout the city and the download and upload rate are the fastest I have had being a Sprint customer. With the unlimited data, you can't go wrong with Sprint in Washington DC.Was this review helpful to you?
Cell reception is for the most part reliable. I have experienced dropped calls in my apartment (Lyon Park area) and had to go outside to continue my conversation. Data speed for the most part is average. Coverage is decent, though when I worked in DC I did not get reception in my building. Traveling outside of the city, especially in rural areas, coverage is nearly nonexistant whereas friends who have Verizon seem to always have service. For the price, AT&T is okay but if you travel outside of the city then consider another provider. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception is extremely variable, 0-2 bar. Towers are too distant. Was this review helpful to you?
We live in a basement 1.75 mi from closest tower, 3and 4 G. Can get calls ok but have move to one spot to keep call connected. Some drops but not many. Tried mifi which is a cool but it too didn't reach the tower. I think cell software "groom" call connections and drop calls with low quality which really stinks. Was this review helpful to you?
I have virgin mobile which uses Sprint towers -- I am constantly losing calls at my home. I am ready to change. it seems Verizon has the best coverage in DCWas this review helpful to you?
