no coverage co worker has Verizon next to me plenty of coverage..counting the days to turn this offWas this review helpful to you?
Inside buildings I have really poor coverage. Many times the signal drops. Outside in the Georgetown campus, I get 2 or 3 bars at most. Around the campus, I lose signal randomly. So I don't understand why they just can't add more towers to improve their coverage. However, at home in Mt. Vernon I have pretty decent signal and no problems. Was this review helpful to you?
Not the best, but not the worst. It's spotty in random areas (like Vienna, VA) but for the most part decent. My 4G doesn't work on GU's campus (probably since it's right on the edge of the city) but works on The Hill and Georgetown neighborhood, and not outside city limits. Was this review helpful to you?
No reception on 1st floor of Lauinger Library in the Gelardin New Media CenterWas this review helpful to you?
Dumped T-mobile. The mobile means go outside to get average reception. Verizon is great! 4+ I dreamed of someday making a call indoors, instead of outside in the freezing cold. Rarely has Verizon been weak. It treats me well in PA, CA, AZ and everywhere in between. Was this review helpful to you?
I barely get any reception. I am currently carrying two phones with me, one an old Motorola with Verizon and my new Motorola RAZR with Cingular. Everywhere in D.C. that I go, I get better reception with the Verizon phone, by at least one-to-two bars. I am planning on going back to my old Verizon phone. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
Horrible. I get no reception here. I'm switching to Verizon! Was this review helpful to you?
Reception is non-existent from 23rd Street across the Memorial Bridge. Going south on the GW Parkway from downtown, reception does not return until after passing Reagan Airport. Heading north on the GW Parkway, reception returns for approx. 5 miles then is lost as you approach the McLean exit until you approach the 495 ramp. Was this review helpful to you?
I have been using Cingular service for a while. I was using Cingular TDMA service; I never had any problem about this particular area. Recently I have switch to Cingular GSM service. It seem like Cingular GSM coverage is great in out door. But In door single is very week and very bad in certain areas. I work near construction Ave. & 23 rd street NW in Washington D.C. near State department. My Samsung s307 pick-ups very good signal outside in this particular area but inside the building is pretty bad. If I go inside the building about 50 to 100 feet my cell is dead and no service available. It happens to me many building around that corner. I think Cingular should install another GSM tower in that area. Was this review helpful to you?
