T-Mobile

Reception towards the end of Little Neck Rd drops off and is very sporadic.

Have to go out on the corner of my porch to get any reception. Then there is usually too much static to hold a conversation but at least I can maintain a connection long enough to tell them to call me on my home phone. Have tried 3 phones and reception is identical.

Hello, what a mistake Cingular made by merging and picking up Suncom customers. We were all excited about our new cell phones. I have the worst cell phone I have ever owned. I have the Samsung Sgh-E317. Customer Service is awful. When you call Cingular to address a problem they only want to know when are you going to make your next payment and it's frustrating. When I received my phone it made a beeping sound when I talk on it and Cingular told me that it was because it's new. Well one months have past and it still beeps. The reception is bad. At first I could not talk inside of any stores especially Walmart. Now I can talk inside store. Guess what now I have to answer by the third ring or I can recieve my incoming calls. I wish Suncom had never left.

I get some service close to the windows of the house, but none or broken inside. Then outside, clear as a bell. Suncom, then Cingular, now T-mobile... . but people with Alltel can talk through my house!

I had T-Mobile for over a year and traveled all over Virginia. Service is great as well as customer service. The only place that I drop calls is in Willamsburg near outlets. Other than that service is great.

Carrier - nTelos. No reception when you enter Bordeaux Court (Foxfire) area. Problem reported to N-telos several times and was told that I live in a dead zone and asked if I havea tower in that area. Company acts as if this is my problem (as if I knew there was a dead zone when they sold me the phone), and do not want to address problem or even give credit for drop calls. Customer Service at the Norfolk Military Crossing branch stinks to say the least. All they want to do is argue with you the customer. Had no such problems with reception when we had Verizon. My wife has Alltel and she has no problem using the phone on Bordeaux Court or in the house. Three other friends also are experiencing the same problems within areas adjacent to where I live. It is sad that this company n-Telos keep selling people phone when they know that their reception is bad in this area. This constitutes fraud and deception and I intent to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I had no problem with Suncom but ever since the merger my reception has been horrible! I hate Cingular and it was a horrible decision to merge(in my opinion). I have no reception in my home, my calls drop everyday it is a living nightmare!

Works fine at Shore Dr.drops off near beach. Signal fluctuates wildly in my home. I must go to the second floor to get a signal. Has a habit of not ringing and fifteen seconds later you are informed you have a voice mail. 710 has a bad charging connection. It connects by two small pins that are very close together. If the phone is not flat or the charging cord has any strain against it, the charging connection is severed and the phone does not charge. Its address book is also strange. Instead of storing all the numbers under one contact name it records each number as a seperate contact so you must scroll through an excessivly long list even within a particular alpha lookup.

Used it while driving from Norfolk to Tacoma, WA and had fairly good reception along major hiways except in parts of west virginia and north western minisota. It even worked while standing on top of a butte in ND. Some callers mentioned they were getting feedback and echo'ing even while using hands free wired ear and mic cord. Overall, I do not regret using this phone on my trip. I also used the internet on this pda to find directions when I got lost. Getting a map when your lost can cost as much as a long distance phone call nowadays. Glad I chose this unit to travel with! I highly recomend it.
