We have had AT&T cell service for many years, multiple states and even overseas and have been happy with the reception. However, everything changed when we moved to Charlotte, NC. Never have more than one bar and calls drop all the time. Changing service! Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile's cell phone coverage and data is absolutely horrible. Been with T-Mobile 1 1 / 2yrs. Dropped calls from home constantly from the beginning. After speaking with 7 customer service reps a couple days ago I was told all of the problems with reception, data and call dropping was all my fault. We even have booster in the home. Huh... how is this my fault? Was this review helpful to you?
Perfect signal stringth almost always 4 or 5 bars. Seems almost every where I go in NC I have great signal strangth. Never have had a dropped call. The unlimited data is awesome ( even if I still have it in my mind I only have 2GB thanks old carrier) but it's nice to know I do have it and slowly getting to loveing using it. Call quality is clear exsept when talking to friends with Verizon they are kind of choppy sounding but they say they hear me fine... . over all I am loving itWas this review helpful to you?
Constantly dropping calls. Hours spent with their technical people to no avail. I do ok when Im out and about but at home I drop 80% of my calls. Do NOT go with Sprint in this area! So frustrating! Was this review helpful to you?
The signal for the T-Mobile services is subpar in most of uptown areas. Simple music streaming becomes very difficult during peak hours around uptown. Having said that speaking to other people, it seem other carriers have the same issue. I remain with T-Mobile because outside of uptown I am able to stream music / videos pretty easily. The unlimeted data is a huge plus since I use aroudn 30-40gb per month. Also I traveled to Europe and was able to get free data during my trip. Was this review helpful to you?
Seriously... Verizon is the worst here. Many people say it's the best reception in the charlotte area... If that's the case then the other guys shouldn't be in business. (I know ATT and T-Mobile have better reception in uptown charlotte) I do well at home (Belmont) but I'm in the middle of uptown charlotte and I'm constantly dropping calls or missing emails because of no signal, and it's not just me, Nobody with a Verizon phone gets decent signal here... Also.. Verizon has my phone (BB Z10) locked to LTE, no way I can manually change it to 3g to try and catch a different tower. Charlotte has grown 64.6% between 2000 and 2010 and is considered the second largest banking city in the USA (money.cnn.com, 2012) you would think Verizon would pour a little money into getting some towers in uptown. I've called multiple times and they always say it’s because of a lack of towers in charlotte, and I should buy a repeater... if I worked in the boonies I would understand, but this is ridiculous. If I could chose my own provider (locked into work) I would drop Verizon and go to anyone else ASAP. I'm working on my company to switch providers because of this problem.. Simply awful. Was this review helpful to you?
Searching for another network with GSM basis for foreign use. The trouble is that none seem any good. T-Mobile supposedly has the best foreign use, but their site says they have no coverage in England. Hate to stay with Verizon but its looking that way.Was this review helpful to you?
No issues at all with calls. Data occasionally drops to 3G in some situations. Internet is very fast most of the time. Was this review helpful to you?
It's not the reception. It's the Customer Service with Sprint. After referring at least 8 customers and my bills paid on time, they still want to charge ME $199.00 for a down payment on a IPhone 6. Horrible customer service. Also, bad service @Torringdon, which is where I purchased! Was this review helpful to you?
One bar only in Uptown and my house in Cotswold. Very expensive for the service. Was this review helpful to you?
