Reception is good but internet signal is poor and expensiveWas this review helpful to you?
The signal for the T-Mobile services is subpar in most of uptown areas. Simple music streaming becomes very difficult during peak hours around uptown. Having said that speaking to other people, it seem other carriers have the same issue. I remain with T-Mobile because outside of uptown I am able to stream music / videos pretty easily. The unlimeted data is a huge plus since I use aroudn 30-40gb per month. Also I traveled to Europe and was able to get free data during my trip. Was this review helpful to you?
Seriously... Verizon is the worst here. Many people say it's the best reception in the charlotte area... If that's the case then the other guys shouldn't be in business. (I know ATT and T-Mobile have better reception in uptown charlotte) I do well at home (Belmont) but I'm in the middle of uptown charlotte and I'm constantly dropping calls or missing emails because of no signal, and it's not just me, Nobody with a Verizon phone gets decent signal here... Also.. Verizon has my phone (BB Z10) locked to LTE, no way I can manually change it to 3g to try and catch a different tower. Charlotte has grown 64.6% between 2000 and 2010 and is considered the second largest banking city in the USA (money.cnn.com, 2012) you would think Verizon would pour a little money into getting some towers in uptown. I've called multiple times and they always say it’s because of a lack of towers in charlotte, and I should buy a repeater... if I worked in the boonies I would understand, but this is ridiculous. If I could chose my own provider (locked into work) I would drop Verizon and go to anyone else ASAP. I'm working on my company to switch providers because of this problem.. Simply awful. Was this review helpful to you?

4G coverage in Uptown is usually no more than one or two bars. In my building it's just one bar, which may be expected since indoor coverage is affected by so many factors. Service routinely switches to 3G, so coverage seems to always be right on the edge making surfing the Web slow and frustrating. This results in my battery draining quickly while in town. Seems like service was better a few months ago so I've been wondering if a tower is down or if a roaming agreement for this area has changed and affected the service. Bottom line is I have not been pleased with my service for a while. I have a Galaxy Note 2 and it's in good working order, but other Verizon customers in my building report the same bad service issues using a variety of different phones. Was this review helpful to you?
Very poor reception in the building. Regardless of floor. You have to be in the park before you have a decent signal. Dissapointed in Verizon, this is a major metropolitan. They should have stronger towers. Was this review helpful to you?
Husband and I have NO reception in our condo. Rarely, we can receive calls at home if we stand in one 2 ft sq area pressed up against the window. Even more rarely, we can place a call from that same spot. He also has NO reception in his Manhattan office. We have to use WiFi / Skype to call anyone. And lately Skype has been crashing on our Nokia Lumia 820 and 920. We're about to pay $340 to get out of our contracts. Epi Center reps said there would be more towers and improved reception come fall. It's worse than ever. Was this review helpful to you?

Reception sucks and calls are dropped. Call quality is terrible. Sprint wanted me to pay another 120$ for a booster! Don't buy Sprint! Was this review helpful to you?
