Sprint

Sprint barely works in Charlotte or even across North and South Carolina. It’s extremely frustrating.

Verizon, get your crap together or give people in Charlotte a discount. This is absolutely absurd you charge the most of any carrier and my phone cannot send or receive texts, phone calls drop, and internet forget it.

The 4g service has been deteriorating over the last year, speed and reception. Now its complete garbage where it use to work fine. On I-77, the 4g cut out then after a few minutes of nothing switched to 3g. This is in Charlotte on a major highway. Just one example of the service dropping off over the last few years.

Calls and texts seem to be working fine but internet is pretty much useless. Ran 6 speed tests with Open signal and my avg. download speed was 846kbps and uploads at 228kbps, this is totally unacceptable with me being on the highest plan they have and nowhere near my 75 gb cap before being throttled. I pay way to much to get this poor of service. Saying bye Verizon very soon I can pay less money for this poor of service.

At Heiloom Restaurant could only get 3G service, not enough to connect with Uber or Lyft. In Concord only got 3G service, not enough to connect to Southwest Airlines to get my boarding pass. I've been a Sprint user since 1993 in the Phoenix market. Unreliable service in a Major metro market is extremely disappointing! If I didn't have so many Sprint devices - 5, I'd move. May anyway.

Do not waste your time - high dollar for a terrible service! Go with Verizon - I am going back.

I moved to charlotte 6 months ago from PA, back in PA T-Mobile service was great with 40MB download speed but here in charlotte I have no signal in my office uptown (downtown) for most of the day. And when am home I get about 1.5 MB. All the unlimited data is useless when you can't use it.

The signal for the T-Mobile services is subpar in most of uptown areas. Simple music streaming becomes very difficult during peak hours around uptown. Having said that speaking to other people, it seem other carriers have the same issue. I remain with T-Mobile because outside of uptown I am able to stream music / videos pretty easily. The unlimeted data is a huge plus since I use aroudn 30-40gb per month. Also I traveled to Europe and was able to get free data during my trip.

4G coverage in Uptown is usually no more than one or two bars. In my building it's just one bar, which may be expected since indoor coverage is affected by so many factors. Service routinely switches to 3G, so coverage seems to always be right on the edge making surfing the Web slow and frustrating. This results in my battery draining quickly while in town. Seems like service was better a few months ago so I've been wondering if a tower is down or if a roaming agreement for this area has changed and affected the service. Bottom line is I have not been pleased with my service for a while. I have a Galaxy Note 2 and it's in good working order, but other Verizon customers in my building report the same bad service issues using a variety of different phones.

Very poor reception in the building. Regardless of floor. You have to be in the park before you have a decent signal. Dissapointed in Verizon, this is a major metropolitan. They should have stronger towers.
