We just moved into Brunswick Forest by Lillibridge and Shelmore my iPhone4s gets 1 bar and my wife's iPhone3 gets 0 bars. Outside we get 3 and 2 bars. AT&T wants $200 for signal booster. I would never have a contract with any of the cell company. So next week I will try T-mobile. After that who knows.

VZW: I have a Straight Talk Samsung Galaxt Crntura that runs on VZW towers. I dont get but 1-2 bars at home but I still never drop calls. Anywhere. AT&T: AT&Ts 3G / 4G signal is 1-2 bars here but its enough... data and calls are still usuable indoors. You will want to avoid them in Leland, Southport, Porters Neck, off Greenville Loop, Pine Grove, UNCW, River Road, Castle Hayne, Bellevue, Delco, Lake Wacamaw, or Burgaw. T-Mobile: their prices are competitive and so are their deals but avoid them in NC! Theres 5 bars in the White Road / Alamosa area, but you will want to avoid them in Leland, Southport, Porters Neck, off Greenville Loop, Pine Grove, UNCW, River Road, Castle Hayne, Bellevue, Delco, Lake Wacamaw, or Burgaw. Youll suffer. Am not familiar with Sprint or US Cellular in NC. DO NOT GO WITH AT&T / TMOBILE IN BRUNSWICK PENDER ONSLOW NEW HANOVER OR BLADEN COUNTIES. Straight Talk has Androids and iPhones that run on VZW for $45 / mo. unlimited everything. Theres no downside. Save some money!

Poor reception most of the time at home, during a recent rainstorm I had no service at all for about 2 hours. And the phone often has no service even during good weather.

T-Mobile has horrible coverage in the coastal states unless you're in a major city.

We get pretty good reception with AT&T in the Southport NC area. Moving to the Great Falls MT area and looking for the best cell phone reception there.

ATT is fine around here. No problems. Used to have Suncom and it was lousy around here.

2nd contract with sprint. wasnt smart on my part to re-up. sprint's certainty that towers were qickly being upgraded swayed my decision. very little reception on beach in summer. Sprint has admitted they cant support the usage when tourist season hits. I have a virtually useless iphone 4s. Even in winter it runs somewhat slow. connecting to an app waste of time in summer. never again with sprint.
