Tmobile is abysmal in Leland. I get zero coverage anywhere with a Blackberry Priv. At this moment I am sitting inside the McDonalds right off the highway coming from Wilmington and I have zero reception. Tried to do wifi calling but McDonald's may not be using right Hz so have zero calling options. It doesn't get any better anywhere in the surrounding 5 square mile area. Coverage in Wilmington is decent though. Feel really bad for the folks that live on this side of the river - what carrier do you even use????Was this review helpful to you?
Horrible! My neighbor is an AT&T Manager and was forced to get Verizon because of the poor to no service on oak island, NC.Was this review helpful to you?
Had issues in may with no reception and Verizon addressed the problem..again same issue and they now say that even though there are two towers within 10 miles of my home there is no longer anything they can do! Citizens in rural areas be damned! Was this review helpful to you?
Reception is unreliable. What a pain in the butt. At times you can not even send a simple picture as a text. Was this review helpful to you?
Rarely do I get reception in my house. When I moved here I had ATT and it was bad, so I switched to Verizon. It worked great for awhile, but now I get maybe 1 bar if I'm Lucy and that is outside my house and it drops almost every call. I'm switching to something else. Don't recommend Verizon at all.ive made several calls to resolve the issue and they only made it worse. Was this review helpful to you?
One bar and slow connection come on T-Mobile get your act together. Was this review helpful to you?
When I first moved here 2 years ago the service was "okay" 3-4 bars was the average and occasionally it would dip to 2-1 and the 4G connection was pretty solid. BUT for about the last 4 months the service has been horrible. Streaming in HD is out of the question and the download speeds are very slow! And as of 3 days ago, the 4G LTE service is completely down. No 4G connection whatsoever. Once I get about 5 miles away heading towards Wilmington, the connection is fine. Verizon needs to fix this ASAP!Was this review helpful to you?
I have never experienced such a pitiful signal as I have in Wilmington. It doesn't matter where I am. I never ever have more than two bars. Phone calls are missed. Text might send, keyword is MIGHT. Using social media or looking up a restaurant? Not with Sprint service in this town. Truly disappointedWas this review helpful to you?
I usually have 2 bars but I have great cell sercice and never get dropped from a call. Was this review helpful to you?
When at home in Landfall, we are on 1x with one, maybe two bars. 1x will go away eventually so I don't know what will happen. We had 4g with three to four bars until Hurricane Matthew. Verizon claims there are 7 towers nearby (one within.2 mi) but service in this area is "extremely poor". Switched to Wi-Fi calling with very little success. They have "escalated" our issue again. 15 year loyalty and $400 per month means very little to the folks at Verizon. I would not recommend Verizon to anyone thinking about it, but do not know if any other carrier is any better. #timeforachange #growwiththeworldWas this review helpful to you?
