AT&T
Second time in less than a month we have no service. I can't even find out this AM ( JULY 30th, 2010) what the problem is! We only have cell phones here so my only communication is by slow TWC road runner on my computer now. Anyway else with this problem yesterday and now this AM?

Frequent dropped calls... Barely 1 bar is typical. Being at home, I am frequently experiencing reception issues. Other areas, towards more populated areas, no problems. I have had frequent bouts of extended "NO SERVICE" when in the Nine Mile and Maple Hill areas as well.

I only have one bar when I am driving inside the city limits of Wallace, NC. If I go inside any building then I lose all my reception. In the rural areas I have no reception. I have been with T-Mobile since it bought out suncom and the previous owners for the past eleven years. I also have four lines but I am ready to drop all of them because of my dissatisfication with the t-moble service. I have complained to 611 customer service on several occasions.

My reception is inconsistent. I will have full bars one minute the next I will have nothing, 1x then 3g cycles every couple of minutes this is extremely frustrating considering I use my cell phone for work purposes.

I loved Alltel! I lived in NC and would frequently travel to Pa to see family and I always had full bars! It was amazing!

One bar, sometimes two, sometimes roaming. My wife also has the same model phone and EVERY TIME she drives through Castle Hayne while talking to me on the phone the call drops. Echoing your voice into the phone, text messages dated THE NEXT DAY! Voicemail when it feels like giving it to you... .I will be switching ASAP.

When it was suncom I got a minimum 3bars inside and outside. Since T-Mobile took over I get NOTHING... .absolutely sucks... im paying for two lines that we cant use until we get to the scotchman on 53... no service in verona or haws run / southwest. T-Mobile claims I should have 1-2 bars... yea right.. they dont even have any kind of contracts in place with other wireless companies so that we can roam off other towers to have service... ..I have been with this company for 5years and was not disatisfied til T-Mobile took over..I will def be switching companies come february. How can a company take over another company but not take over their towers? kinda pointless!

I've actually used a few different phones through the years with U.S. Cellular; They all performed equally. I tried phones from four different providers before finding U.S. Cellular; I couldn't get a signal even outside my home from the first four (sorry, after all these years I can't recall who the four were). I had never heard of U.S. Cellular before that time, but was growing desperate. The first thing I noticed was that I had a signal when I got out of my car at home. The second thing was that after entering my home I no longer had a signal. Overall it's sometimes possible to hold a conversation inside; other times I have to exit the house (and sit in the car if it's raining!). I have to add that I have ALWAYS had a signal anywhere else I can think of. Also, visiting friends of mine or neighbors DON'T get a signal here All of this is pretty much moot now; I have unlimited long distance 24 / 7 Nationwide plus ten calling features after switching my land line to my cable company, and it costs a lot less than what the first land line had been charging me just to have a phone on the wall, no nothing. I have never had a serious problem with U.S.Cellular. Their insurance carrier raised my deductible from $35.00 to $50.00 after I lost my first phone and filed a claim. And the next time I needed a replacement the first two I was sent had problems and had to be returned. But that's not U.S.Cellular, it's the carrier they use.

Can get calls and texts from about 1 / 2 of the house, if right next to a window.

Can get texts at one corner of the house (NE, from New Bern tower, I guess), but no phone calls from anywhere in or around the house.
