I have been with Sprint for years. I have never seen signal over 2 bars. I get 0 service in Orange Park / Middleburg. If I am in a building I can not even get calls. After reboots the phone suddenly finds voice mails some times as many as 40 of them. often they are several days old when I get them. I have spoken with Sprint, I have done new phones, had them out to my apartment complex, put pieces of equipment on my home network (that I had to pay for), gone to the Sprint store, every thing Sprint has suggested that I do. I really think they were just trying to get as much money as they could out of me before I fired them. Speaking of money the only time the phone(s) worked with out issue was when I was paying them. And the adds. Tons and tons of adds.

Moved here 3 months ago. I was with Verizon and have no intentions of changing. Coverage is great throughout Jacksonville. I haven't been everywhere yet, but NO problems so far.

When I purchased the phone from T-Mobile, they said that I was in an area that had second to the highest coverage. I was told that twice again on the phone. I never could make a call and people had a hard time calling me, we would get dropped. Internet service is good with WiFi. Samsung Galaxy light phone with 4Gs. T-Mobile made two service calls to the area. After the second one, the man in the technical department said that they didn't have ANY towers close to me. A service for a tower would take one month to a year. Told me to search for other services. What are we supposed to do without good reception? Isn't Jacksonville big enough to have great coverage everywhere we go on any coverage we choose? Get with it J'Ville. It is 2014. This is hard to believe. I've tried other service providers: Straight Talk, and Net One and Net One was the best so far. Don't know what I'm going to do. Why am I paying for a phone???????

I must say my metro PCS works great in yulee and fernandina. I just switched from another carrier and I'm very happy with the service and the price is also great.

While Sprint isn't horrifically bad, it's pretty terrible. Slow speeds, poor reception, dropped calls, etc. Not to mention, on a family plan we're still paying $65 / person. What good is unlimited data if you can't even use a reliable connection? Go with Verizon or AT&T if you're in Jacksonville. Sprint sucks.
