T-Mobile

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Coral Gables, Miami, FL 33134 |

I recently switched from AT&T because I was trying to save on my monthly bill and because T-Mobile includes the international plan. I guess it's true when they say "you get what you pay for!" Before I had reception almost anywhere in Miami (including inside buildings) and now I've had more dropped calls in the last 2 weeks since switching over than I ever had in all my years with AT&T. I don't know if the tower to user ratio is not enough but I'm EXTREMELY frustrated with T-Mobile and I regret ever leaving AT&T.

Verizon

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | 77 St. and Collins, Miami Beach, FL 33141 |

Have very few problems w Verizon. Had Att, Metro PCS and Sprint. None of the others work on the Beach. Verizon is expensive but at least I can use it for everything... including movies, email, text, international and videos and no dropped calls. Maybe once a month I have no internet conx priblem but they fix it in a day.

Verizon

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | North Bay Village Condo, Miami Beach, FL 33141 |

Mostly everyone I speak to on a regular basis knew our call would get dropped several minutes into the conversation. Annoying, Yet very predictable. Was repeatedly told it was the all the concrete condos. Needed a booster. Switched from Sprint to Verizon. Just like magic... no more dropped calls. Reception is much clearer too. Who knew?

Verizon

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | Ocean Lane Dr., Key Biscayne, FL 33149 |

Ive been living on Key Biscayne for 2 weeks now and have visited often over the last four years. Verizon coverage in my apartment is good for both voice and data. We have also had good voice coverage at Bill Baggs State Park. Would love to hear other recent experiences, particularly Sprint or Virgin Mobile as we would like to minimize dependance on Comcast and find a slightly less expensive data provider. Thanks,

AT&T

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | Subset Harbour | 20th and Alton , Miami Beach, FL 33139 |

After spending hours on the landline complaining of lack of reception and internet, and only after threatening to cancel 6 cell phones, 2 landlines, Uverse and Internet did they send a booster. Still have to go outside to use phone and I am on the ground floor. Going to switch to verizon. AT&T just don't care.

AT&T

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | House on Brickell Area | South Miami Av, Miami, FL 33129 |

I live in south miami avenue, brickell area, it is a house, no trees, no buildings around a block, but the AT&T signal is horrible, I am planning to change this month of provider, just checking now which one has better coverage and prices. Att also I have to call every month to talk to an agent about the bill, and they always reduce it, but it is a pain every month checking and calling them

AT&T

Since June 21, 2014, there is no reception in the building. It used to be a perfect reception until that date. Is AT&T working with the towers in the area?

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | 100 MacArthur Causeway, Miami Beach, Miami Beach, FL 33139 |

Sprint is horrible here on the Causeway, switches between 4g and 3g alot here or the 3g / 4g indicator on top and will disappear for a minute before it reconnects to a network. 4g is supposed to be faster but thats not the case. Internet dail-up with a 56k modem is faster than Sprints 4G JUNK. They advertise all the new 4g towers being launched all around the areas of S. Florida but where are the towers actually at? did they put them in the Everglades. Ive been on this long awaited 4G network improvements and they are way over do, why even have or sell 4G phones when most of the time you cant even connect to it. "Unlimited waiting" is really what they should advertise on tv, or on radio.

T-Mobile

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Grove Isle Dr. | Fair Isle St., Miami, FL 33133 |

4 different type of phones on T-Mobile contracts -- All loose (dropped call) the connection at least 5-6 times a day. Totally unreliable coverage. This was not the case a year ago... Unless they fix this, I recommend going with another network as a better choice for this area.

T-Mobile

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Miami Shores / North Bay Village, Miami, FL 33138 |

I got t mobile because I read some good reviews-- it worked fine at first (when I lived in hialeah) now cell does not work inside apartment (CONSTANTLY DROPPED CALLS or calls not even coming in). Nor works at major locations in the area, sometimes data too, so I have to drive a street down before my google map directions kick in. Customer service isn't great either. Want to switch asap.

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Midtown | Midtown , Miami, FL 33137 |

Stay away from Sprint you will drop 3 out of 4 calls every time you call them they say they are working on "towers" after 11 months of waiting I dropped them went to T-Mobile last weekend they got me out of the contract and now all my services work woo the internet actually works what a concept am sure sprit is loosing most of their users due to the issues stay away from them if you are not unlimited means nothing when you can't use the internet. 2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Biscayne Blvd. | NE 79th St., Miami, FL 33138 |

I get a "no network connection" message all the time when I try to use speech to text option. And can barely use the maps app for the same reason. Plus, I was one of those people that always wondered why people were always complaining about dropped calls. Now I understand. Must drop at least 30% of calls with T-Mobile. I thought my AT&T service was bad... this is absolutely terrible. I should never have switched from Verizon.

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, FL 33139 |

The word "sprint" is defined as: a burst of speed. Well, unfortunately there is absolutely no "sprint" in Sprint. I believe an accurate and fair renaming of the company should be "Lethargic." Coverage, upload and download speeds are horrible. And, not to mention customer service- that's a whole new chapter. Next month my contact is over and I will definitely be looking for a new phone carrier. Perhaps pointing my index finger in the air and saying "ET phone home" will work better than Sprint.
