I thought Metro PCS was bad. Overall this is the worse wireless network in the United States. I've been with this carrier for over a year and it doesn't seems to get any better then what it's been for the past year and a half. This people are into something way off the chain. I bet they would be bankrupt if they don't take action fast by the end of 2014 there will be millions leaving to other carriers. My experience is a nightmare that has become a part of my life since technology is going so fast while Sprint it's so far behind making false promises. When I purchased this iPhone 5s. They said I had LTE Data included to my play wish was a lie from day 1. It's been Edge technology come one Sprint! This is so 90's ! Including messaging sucks! Sometimes it says you have 3G when you're not even getting that. It is way below edge. Sometimes I regret myself for getting into this contract. I can't use nothing everything delays takes minutes to get on safari sometimes I get no data for hours not even saying I cannot use my apps. So why selling a phone that will not work with the network you are providing to your customer. This people are thieves. I'm just waiting until my contract ends in September so I can move on. Watch out! Don't step into the spider web of the Sprint awful network.

Verizon

My service is Perfect and Excellent with Verizon! My friends, college friends / professors, swim coach, and family (Mom and Dad) say it too! My Mom and I have had Verizon for a long time. My Dad has Sprint for work and service is horrible with Sprint but his leisure / personal phone is Verizon. My college professor has AT&T and service is frustrating and my Godmother has T-Mobile, but Sprint and T-Mobile are bad networks in most areas. AT&T have been a rip-off, they have billing problems and are expensive (plans are fine, but billing is horrendously insane). Last week, 20 college friends, 9 college professors, the swim coach, and more have switched to Verizon and have full service and 4G LTE service. My Dad and Godmother and sometimes college professor mostly and always drop calls and data is 75% slow. Verizon is #1, AT&T is 2nd Place, T-Mobile and Sprint 3rd / Last Place.

I travel between Miami and Alabama throughout the year and the Sprint service is less than par. They say they are upgrading the towers and I'm still waiting. I have been a Sprint customer for over 15 years and they treat me as if I just came on board with them. Whenever my service is not working and I see someone who's service is, I ask who they are with and nine times out of ten it's Verizon. I understand they have great coverage and great speeds, that's all I need. My contract is up at the end of this year with Sprint and I will be moving to Verizon.

The service is horrible and calls are always dropping. If you do not have Sprint already then stay away!

AT&T

AT&T needs a microcell in the area where I live, that is inside your house, in the area of Kendall otherwise you cannot talk because they don't have enough antennas in this area.

I have had AT&T, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS in the past, and while out of these AT&T offers good service, Verizon's overall package is better. Verizon doesn't drop any calls, has perfect 4G LTE coverage, and has the best customer service hands down. I know several people on Sprint that are eager to get on Verizon when their contract is up. Like I said, AT&T is good, but Verizon is better.

I have only two bars of signal on my phone inside the house at Doral, but I can still use my phone. In the Little Havana also I have three bars of signal.Never I had 5 bars of signal. I check almost all the reviews of various providers and saw that almost all have the same problem. Three critera for AT&T and other providers : 1 - Apparently the antennae are improperly installed or designed or poorly designed and any supervisor or telecommunications engineer checks the work by measuring the power of the signal in the most distant of coverage area. 2 - Maybe the modern phones are not manufactured with such sensitivity and signal gain as the oldest, perhaps the largest number of transmitting antennas. About 3 or 4 years ago when the AT&T signal fell and died for repairs at Doral and I always knowing that I have 2 bars of signal, I put the SIM card from my smartphone to my old phone NOKIA and what was my surprise?. I was 5 bars of signal on CDMA and I could use my old phone. 3 - They should spend more resources on improving the signal power because the customer pays more and receives very bad service daily.

I regret leaving MetroPCS for Sprint. Since day one of signing up, I've had constant issues with sprint. I have an iPhone 4S that's supposed to be getting 3G speeds but it's basically a pretty brick on Sprint's network. If I leave my home or leave a wifi connection, my phone is useless. Their 3G network is too slow to be of any use. I run speed tests everywhere I go and they usually return 0s for download and upload speeds or errors for a lost connection. Never mind trying to use my GPS apps because it will lose connection before you can even route directions. If my phone leaves a Sprint 3G area (which happens more often than I wish) I can no longer send or receive text messages. It's really frustrating to see that I can't even use the most basic of services when I need them. Data service is secondary for a phone in my opinion but you don't get the service you pay for. They like to flaunt their "unlimited" data usage but what good is unlimited data if you can't even use the data? I really regret signing up with sprint. I've called to report these issues and they keep telling me the same thing, "network upgrades are coming soon"... it's been two years and honestly, their service is only getting worst by the day. In the past year, I have traveled throughout Florida (Tallahassee, Orlando, south Florida) and no matter where I've been, the service is still crap. It is hopeless and disappointing to say Sprint is my carrier. And bringing my phone out in public is almost embarrassing since it just won't work. Save yourself the rage and sign up with another carrier.

In all honesty, I have had my iPhone 4s for almost two years and this 4g network has done me no wrong. I can't wait to upgrade to the iPhone 5s and finally experience 4g LTE (4x as fast). Usually, I'm getting 5-11 mbs on AT&T 4G network and my sister (iPhone 5) receives about 27-35 mbs. Never has my call been dropped and never have I experienced any No Service or low bars.

Seems like no carrier wants to spend money to fix reception in Miami dade. They just want our money then penalize us when they cannot live up to their claims of #1you coverage. They say to buy more equipment to boost reception. Why do I need to do that? Oh yea they want more of my money but they don't fix the problem. They don't consider Miami dade big enough to invest in more / better service? Oh yea they have my money / contract. Seems they all suck.

This is by far the worst service provider in the nation! Even METRO PCS has better service. They won't let anyone out of their contract even though we are still paying for service which is not being provided to us. Anyone who is trying to get out of their contract and Sprint is still charging them the fee for early termination, please email me. I'm trying to get enough people together to have this company audited. My calls are constantly being dropped, but according to their records(which I'm not allowed a copy of) not enough calls are being dropped to let me out of my contract! I'm certain I'm not the only one with this ongoing issue with Sprint. No service is perfect, especially if they claim the upgrades to their network is the reason for the poor service, but they should allow the client to make the decision to either stick it out or move on to a better carrier.

T-Mobile

I've been with T-Mobile for a little over a year now. I haven't had a single problem with reception to dropped calls in that time. The only spots I've encountered where data is spotty is around where my folks live in Miami Lakes just on the other side of 826, and in Pembroke Pines right off of I-75. Other than that, I've traveled many times from my house to Orlando, Lakeland and beyond, and haven't had any problems with reception. Data speeds are fast enough to let me stream NFL Sunday ticket from the park where I take my kids. I'm very satisfied with T-Mobile and would definitely recommend.

Since Friday (Sept 13) night I have not been able to make or receive calls. Calls go right to voicemail and I am not able to access voicemail. Texting is sporadic at best with every outgoing test msg saying "Message not sent" and "Network problem. Code: -3". Eventually they do get sent at some point. Has anyone heard any reports about the outage and when it is likely to be resolved?
