T-Mobile

There are towers around here, but they are either overloaded or not close enough together. T-Mobile is awful inside the home and most buildings period. They gave me an "antenna" and a repeater to put in the house it is so bad, and that helps little. Outside of the house it has to be at night and cloudy to get a decent signal. Always get disconnected at Coral Way and 107th Ave; near the airport, and at Golden Glades exchange. Generally I-95 is better than the Turnpike, but there are a couple of dead areas on I-95 as well. I think T-Mobile only like to put up towers around businesses, universities, and nice neighborhoods-"nice" is relative in Miami. We have the richest and the poorest.

Phone goes into ROAM all over the Grove. That's not a huge deal except you can't text when you're roaming. Also, LTE is a joke. Never available anywhere. Try driving up I-95 out of the Grove. When you get near downtown - dropped call. Moving to Verizon and hoping it's better. It can't be worse.

Been with Sprint since before Nextel. Going to leave them now. Una mierda. No 4g in this are and their 3G sucks as well in this area.

Switched from Verizon to Sprint. Worst choice of my life! Can't doanload any youtube vids, can't use pandora or iheart radio, miss text messages all the time. DON'T SIGN UP WITH SPRINT!

AT&T

I don't know why but this spot at Doral has a very poor signal, I see all my neighbors outside walking around trying to get more signal. We are right next to Turnpike and maybe there is no towers right at this area which make it signal very poor.

Verizon

Verizon gets great speeds only in parts of Miami, anywhere by Tamiami Airport and Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, expect to have poor 3g coverage. at MDC signal is lost inside the buildings while ATT maintains full 4g signal.

Sprint

Absolutely worst reception for Sprint in Miami, I came from Dallas, coverage was not great either once inside buildings. Not happy. Also sprint's LTE seems to be only around 826 @ Flager and 8th St, and switching LTE and 3G causes my phone to constantly go kaput and freeze on data and voice signals, I often have to reboot my phone to re-use the phone again, so have to keep LTE disabled at all time. And in my house near SW 62 ave, signal is often 0 bar to 1 bar... go figure, often I call someone and they say they can't even hear me talking.

Very weak reception in area near Biltmore hotel. Gets better in downtown Coral Gables.

Sprint is the worst in miami.. there is no bars No bars! in down town, brickell and north coconut grove.. Sprint = aways roaming !

BIG MISTAKE to leave ATT. The extra money in savings is not worth it. Unless I'm connected to WIFi pandora freezes, takes forever to load video on YouTube and at times up too ten minutes to download a song from iTunes. Sometimes it takes forever just searching for a song on iTunes. I have the iPhone 4gs. Sprint is horrible. I'm thinking of breaking contract and dealing with their stupid fee for the sake of cell phone sanity.

I just moved into a new apartment and ha e no description inside and little reception within 20 feet of my building. Looking for ideas to boost the signal. Ive a Samsung Galaxy nexus 4g with Verizon wireless. Help.

Been with Sprint for 2 yrs with an first Evo came out. Tha phone have no problem until battery and such such. Now I just got my black Friday GS 3 phone on Monday. Got all excited for no reason since the signals got worst and WORST. Them reps always goin to sweet talk you and tryun to act like they fixin your issue which it don't do NOTHIN AT ALL. Main thing when are they goin to put up the 4G up ?? In Gould area - Strongest 4G ever.

Outside of the building I usually get 2 bars, once inside all reception is lost, compared to AT&T which has excellent reception in this area

Horrible reception. I was working with Sprint to solve the 3G slow speed issue and they kept telling me that the towers in this area are being upgraded. Well after a few months they finally came out and said that this whole South Florida area is being upgraded and the time that it will be finished is sometime 2013. Guess what, all Sprint users are expected to wait this out till they are done and pay them the full price of your service. No discounts for being the WORST carrier in the world and false advertisements. More people need to send complaints to the Better Business Bureau so the executive office knows what's going on. Speaking to their reps is horrible and they just give you the run around. Dan Hesse is a complete jackass for allowing the iPhone to come to the Sprint network without making any upgrades for tower capacity. Bottom line DO NOT SIGN UP WITH SPRINT! Their network is overloaded.

Yea, I get zero to 1 bars of reception in my house or around my house. Every morning when I drive out, about 2 blocks East, I start getting txts and voice mails from the night before. According to the map, I have a T-Mobile tower 2 mins North of my home.

WORST signal ever even with this crap ass air rave. AT&T on the other hand was beautiful. I shouldn't have switched.

No reception inside business building, outside gets a bar or two but difficult to connect a call or most of the call goes straight to voicemail. I called T-Mobile since many years ago about the poor coverage and they don't care. 10 years as a customer and we started migrating our 34 lines to another expensive carrier for a fair service. T-Mobile has great rate plans but if you can't use te service is not worth it pay cheap.

for several weeks the signal has droped naw 1-3 bar outside bulding, inside 1 or completed lost of signal, also tested at 2425 sw 6st miami fl 33135 2 bar outside inside completed lost signal several devices were use for the testing list as falow :ifone 4S ifone 4 ipad 3 ifone4 (red pocket) similar results+-1bar the problem continue today 08 / 03 / 2012

In hialeah,and doral city.the reception is terrible.i have to be close to the window in my house in order to finish a conversation.there is not hight building arround,and in doral next to 99ave and 51st is almost imposible.during a night after 12,the reception is worse,no bars at all.metro is free of contract but,the service is less than very bad!

Moving from rural New England where cell service is expected to be spotty, I never thought the reception in Miami would be horrible. I thought it was just my carrier but my research has shown that it's not unique to one carrier or phone. I too have been standing perfectly still with great bars one second while on a call and then no bars the call drops. Time of day does not seem to change the outcome. Where can we all complain? FCC? Florida Utilities / Public service dept?

I've had Sprint for 3 years in Los Angeles, CA and Orange County, CA and never faced any issues (NO dropped calls, Fastest data speeds... BEST overall)... . I moved to Miami, FL a week ago for work. Office is in Doral Area. Aournd the area may get 1 possibly 2 bars... . near the office building the signal practically disappears and phone is dead from 8 to 5 so as to speak. Trying to find a place to live nearby but if Sprint has this kind of coverage then might have to switch carriers. Because I cannot live with this kind of coverage for long. Is there a official complaint channel or forum where we can lodge a complaint with Sprint on this issue?
