Sprint
No reception in buildings in Coconut Creek, Florida area. Sprint has the worst service in South Florida.

it fluctuates from second to second, from being able to make or recieve a call to no signal. This GSM service is much worse than the old AT&T digitial..

Using a new EVDO phone from Sprint I can get reception in my home but with their non EVDO phones I would rarely get a signal.

I travel all over South Florida and have great reception in almost any weather condition, any location, any situation. I travel across alligator alley, WPB to south Miami, South Beach, convention centers, upstate NY, Utah mountains, NJ shore- it works everywhere. Only possible problem I've ever had is in new homes with metal roof where bars go down to 2 or 3. Been a few years since I used Cingular, but they had lots of pockets with no reception, especially near MIA airport.

Never had a problem indoor or outdoor..Also worked better then the other cell phone carriers after the hurricane. Most police departments dropped Nextel because of it.

No reception in the house at all. One bar with an occassional 2 if you go outside in the middle of the back or front yard to talk. Needless to say, I've dropped Metro PCS, now with T-Mobile for a little over a month and I can talk in my own house again. With T-Mobile, I now have 3-4 bars. Prior to Metro PCS, I was with Cingular for 7 years, yes and the service was awesome, but TOO expensive, poor plans and too much money so I switched. Big difference between Cingular and Metro PCS, but I've finally found something good in the middle... T-Mobile. Only complaint, I picked the wronge cell phone model (do not like Samsung E335... .poor speaker phone and volume). Upgrading to the Motorola Razr that everyone seems to Love.

Had no reception after Katrina for 2 weeks and none for 3 weeks after Wilma. Dropped calls are the norm. Cingular thinks they are the best but everyone around me have 4-5 bars and I ended up using their phones after the hurricanes.

On my 5th Treo with T-Mobile... .horrible. Phone 'freezes' constantly, no reception in buildings (including mine on the beach). Customer service is horrendous, on hold for 45 minutes, then hung up on. Phone just 'dies' all the time. Only buy a Treo from T-Mobile if you have EXTREME patience and no important calls to make or receive!

I had the razor phone and it wasn't the greatest, a lot of dropped calls etc. Just got an unlocked SLVr L7 quad band and it has got 5 BARS. WOHO! I think it's the phone not the carrier. This phone blows away my last one. Tested it side by side with my girlfriends phone on the turnpike, she would have 1 bar and my new phone would have 5! Food for thought? JP

Had AT&T with a LG G4011 (free phone) and had perfect reception. After two years I decided to upgrade to a Motorola RAZR so I was automatically switched to Cingular when I signed a new contract. Poor reception now.
