Do not waste your money on AT&T in Fort Lauderdale, period. I have had them for over a decade and the service never improves. The AT&T techs use Ipads and Iphones and have to go outside for a signal which is still spotty at best. I had to purchase a Microcell ($200) to be able to use the overpriced cellular service I already pay for at home which has to be connected to the Uverse service, which itself is glitchy! Oh, and the cell does not "seamlessly" transition to and from the microcell, so if I am on a call and walk outside the house, the call drops while the phone desperately tries to connect to a tower. I also still continue to pay for a "landline" (it's broadband so it is not really a landline nor is it dependable either, if the lights go out or the system takes a dump, no landline) pay for a landline to back up the sketchy cell service in the house. At the end of the day, AT&T is expensive and not dependable, this appears to be the best they are "willing" to do. I will be trying someone new.Was this review helpful to you?
I get poor to zero reception with ATT service on my IPhone 5S. I've had to keep my landline in my home for years so that I can forward my cell phone to my landline when I'm at home. I'm in Atlanta frequently and never have had a problem there. Anyone have any suggestions ? Switch to Verizon? Was this review helpful to you?

Hardly ever get more than 2 bars. In driving around Fort Lauderdale, 3 bars at the most. Was shocked to have 4 bars near Holy Cross Hospital, and totally blown away to actually see a 3G symbol pop up in that location... otherwise never, ever see 3G or 4G. Now I see the tower that is supposed to service Fort Lauderdale is actually north of Commercial Blvd, and west of NW 31st Avenue... 5-6 miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beach area... where I recently got one bar! To Sprint:... the solution is simple... Drake Tower at Andrews and NE 18th Street, and the south western edge of Wilton Manors! This is a 13 story building... the tallest for miles around, except Wilton Tower to the east, in Wilton Drive. T Mobile has antenna on the Drake tower roof, but are removing at least some of them... reducing their rent payments to Drake Association. Sprint: Go For It! Get a central Drake Tower location on the highest venue north and west of downtown Fort Lauderdale... .WE WILL ALL THANK YOU!Was this review helpful to you?
Very poor reception even with a signal repeater compared with nearly everywhere else in the country I have been. What is with Lauderdale? Not like its a remote island. Was this review helpful to you?

used to be able to talk on cell in house. since the merge, now cant receive any service in the house, including text and barely any outsideWas this review helpful to you?
The cell reception works really good at my house it may vary between 2-4 bars on LTE but usually 3 bars of LTE on 4G I get 4-5 bars at my house. But LTE is reliable 4G is like your backup if your phone doesn't find LTE radios. Was this review helpful to you?
