AT&T Wireless (GSM)
I do not know if my problem is my phone or the GSM service from AT&T. It's constantly "Searching For Network" and the time and area varies every day. One day I'll have 5 bars and the next none. The only place I get perfect reception is out in the everglades by US27. This is in the NW Miami area SW Broward.

If the responses on this site determine anything...location is king. I use the LG VX6000 here in Pembroke Pines, and I haven't dropped a call yet. I get between 1 and 3 bars in my house, but my phone hangs tenaciously to the lowest of signals. Coverage around and about Pembroke Pines is very good, and major interstates are covered very, very well (I-95, I-75 and the Turnpike). I've been all over the state with this phone including Tampa, Orlando and Gainesville...and my service has worked great. I'm very pleased.

Panasonic GU87 is a very low power devise, in building coverage is very poor. Not the best phone I have used, but close to the worst

Sprint PCS Sucks! Don't believe the advertisments!! I travel around the country and Sprint PCS is the worst wireless phone company out there! Go with AT&T Wireless, or Verizon

The reception for AT&T GSM stinks just about everywhere unless you are in a wide open space. Their TDMA network is more reliable.
