We typically have no problems, but sometimes, our phones will drop calls for no apparent reason. We are on the very top of a hill and Channel 4 is on the next hill over. The only thing I can figure is their signals drown ours out on occassion. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception on direct connect goes in and out on 22nd ave near the vanderbilt hospital. Absolutely no service in any of the medical center. Service is very spotty in other building on campus. Was this review helpful to you?
This phone has always had poor reception. For the first year I was missing calls in east Nashville and south Nashville and did not even know it. The original phone I had with Sprint did not exhibit this problem. When I went back to Sprint with my complaint on the phone but they said the phone only had a 12-month warranty and I was in the 15th month of use. Since Sprint was not willing to rectify the problem I had only just confirmed as a phone problem I decided to change carriers. Sprint does great commercials but their real-world service leaves a lot to be desired. My 2-yr agreement runs out the end of March - then it's bye bye Sprint. Was this review helpful to you?
9 times out of 10 I am cut off at this intersection. This is the only area in Nashville / Hendersonville that I have a problem. I was with Cingular for several years and lost calls all over Nashville. Have been with Verizon for 5 years and overall have been very pleased with the service. Just wish their rates were better. Was this review helpful to you?
The phone revices really bad reception in Lewis, in and around mayfield. The phone will connect for about 1 minute and then drop the call. You can visually see the bars go down and drop the call. The phone was 400 dollars and I am very dissappointed. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (TDMA)
I get really bad reception (1 or less bars) on parts of Vandy campus and especially inside buildings. 21st at Woodmont is horrible. West End from 440 to White Bridge Rd. is only one bar as well. I'm currently looking for a new cell phone company. Was this review helpful to you?
I have had more dropped calls in a day on Cingular digital than in the three years with AT&T analog. Network failures are common. I'll have 5 or 6 bars (6 is max) and calls won't go through. The advertised coverage areas are NOT accurate! I now expect ALL my cell calls to fail. If the 'merger / takeover' between cingular and AT&T doesn't help this I will take my family's number elsewhere. By the way, check your bill carefully. Was this review helpful to you?
