My service provider is Net10 which uses AT&T towers There is a cell tower on the side of big ridge, giving me excellent signal at home and in nearby Hixson. Inside the Big Lots store on Ashland Terrace in Hixson creates a dead spot. Phone will not work unless you go outside. I still haven't found a place that gives me anything below 3 bars of signal. AT&T coverage is great.

Three Notch Rd. south of Battlefield Pkwy. Has poor or no reception from at least Boynton Dr. south for at least two to three miles. There are several houses and neighborhoods in this area.

We live on the East Brainerd side of Ringgold. I never have more than one bar at home. I have trouble making and recieving calls when home. I can't send or recieve pics or texts at all. My son just got an envy and his is not much better. But we had Cingular before this and had the same luck, I guess this is just in a bad area.

I had Sprint before getting Verizon 3 yrs ago. The haven't been known for great new phones like Cingular but the service is great. No dropped calls at all. People fuss about Verizon but in Chattanooga they are reliable. A friend of mine had Sprint for years and he had regular places where he would lose calls such as going up the ridge cut.

Verizon wireless is perfect where I live, they are the only people who get really good coverage in the most rural of places. I just moved here from atlanta and was not sure if my phone would work out in the middle of nowhere. But to my suprise it did Verizon gets all my props!
