I had trouble with Cingular from the begining! There are holes in their coverage on Middlebrrok Pike and on Robinson Rd. Terrible coverage. Was this review helpful to you?
I have tried many cell services but Cricket seems to be the best in the city. Was this review helpful to you?
After you pass Grace Baptist Church, no matter what cell phone you are using, the phone will drop all reception until you pass Ball Camp Rd.Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
The GSM signal here is not the strongest, but it does work, and I have not had any problem placing or receiving calls. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (TDMA)
Reception is fine on UT campus even in buildings, but terrible near my house. From my driveway, I get 0-2 bars on the indicator, but the signal always dies within a couple of minutes. Inside my house, I get no reception whatsoever. Was this review helpful to you?
The only company that works is verizon. sprint failed, US cellular didn't even try, AT&T works for 30 seconds at a time, cingular acused me of trying to make international calls, cricket actually worked ok. Verizon is worth the higher price, I just wish they'd sell their phones cheaper. I could get the same phone from US cellular for free but for Verizon I had to pay $39.99. But atleast it works. Was this review helpful to you?

Verizon is hands down the best in the country, I travel all over and have had every other major carrier out there... no contest. Consumer reports and JD Power are right on with their studies. Rankings of what I've used: 1.Verizon - Head and shoulders above the rest. 2. AT&T - Good in Knoxville. Nationwide not so good. 3. Nextel - If your not on an interstate you S.O.L. 4. Cinglar - Lots of holes everywhere, reception is horrible. 5. Sprint - Horrible coverage. Nickle and dime you to death, worst customer care in the business. Was this review helpful to you?
