I have had AT&T since I've had a cell. Been thinking about changing as calls ALWAYS drop on Pelli Pkwy, and any other juncture between Northshore and Kingston Pike around Westland Dr. and surrounding areas. Was this review helpful to you?
On the T-Mobile map the 200 or so feet around my house says "satisfactory" "using 3g speeds" but I'm lucky to be at 2g, glad I have WiFi. As soon as I get onto Clinton hwy, near oak ridge or onto pellissippi Pkwy. I'm at 3g and 4g. I am very disgruntled. Called T-Mobile they told me I was in a bad spot. Was this review helpful to you?
Cell coverage is great in Knoxville and Clinton. 4G is pretty solid in Knox and Clinton. Occasional bad areas but overall strong. Would recommend if you commute Clinton and Knoxville. Was this review helpful to you?
I have sprint. As far as reception goes, it is great. I've only had an unintentional dropped call three times in a year. As far as data speed goes, it is pretty slow. Really slow. There is no 4G data from Sprint in this city or Knoxville. That is a fact you can prove by going to their website and looking for your city. So, there is no point in upgrading a 3G phone. Was this review helpful to you?
My Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone does not get phone service in my home, most the time phone service is spotty at best. I have contacted them and they were supposed to do a survey and try get me some improvement for the 100 dollar a month service I buy from them. My contract expires with them at the end of the month, I have been with them for some time... ... ... ... .but I refuse to spend 300 more dollars for a booster to get to pay them 100 a month for the service. Its time they do some improvements !Was this review helpful to you?
Most of the time I have only one bar of 4G Lte reception here, and I am at the top of a hill. If I place my phone in the window sill, turn on the mobile hotspot, and use the phone like a wireless router for my other devices, then I get three or four bars and speed is great. I dont understand how I can have three towers as close to my home as I do, and the reception strength is so low. There was a moderately strong wind that came through Oak Ridge approx. 3 weeks ago and every since then the 4G Lte cuts out two or three times a day.Was this review helpful to you?

There were a one bar signal until Feb 2014, now there is no signal. I added a cell phone repeater and still don't have a signal. Verizon must have made an adjustment to one of there towers and now I have no bars. Was this review helpful to you?
Drop calls every time I cross the bridge, both driving into and leaving Oak Ridge. I checked signal strength. Full bars on each side of bridge but drops to zero signal on bridge with my Motorola X.Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped Verizon because of poor service in the general area and NO service at my house. Tried T-Mobile, and it was worse in my area. Gave AT&T a try (had service with them years ago and it was poor then) and I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the level of service I have in my area. 3-4 bars and 4G service consistently in the areas I mentioned, where I had NO service with the other carriers. Last night was the first time I had a phone conversation inside my house without having to stand in one place and HOPE the signal stayed, in YEARS. Kudos to AT&T!Was this review helpful to you?
