Data connections are constantly dropped, >70%. Data connections vary between 3G being the minority to 1X being the norm. Verizon "tech support" is either incompetent or merely mouths platitudes of "attempting" to resolve service issues since Dec. 2012 to date, June 2013. Telephone feature of service was improperly programed, resulting in phone locking and screen going dark during calls, i.e. phone unusable during call.

AT&T is the best cell service I have ever had. I have had every cell carrier (Verizon, boost, cricket, tmobile, us cell,... ) and I have not had any drop calls in the year I have had service. The LTE is amazing. I would never switch to another company. I am extremely happy. Also, up in sharps chapel I canNOT find a dead spot. So yah I'm very happy with ATT

I was hoping to use my phone to tether at home. But the 4g I get in my home is spotty. Its great downtown but also not good where work off Sutherland and N. Concord.

**POOR TO NO RECEPTION INSIDE MY HOUSE ONLY!** As soon as I back out of my driveway and get on the road, I have 3-4 bars in the area. FML this is my home phone as well, and I can't use it in my phone. I started out with Samsung Galaxy S III and its signal strength was absolutely atrocious! Lost all signal numerous times. I'm sending it back. Got home with Apple iPhone 4S that was newly purchased from Cricket store and it seems to pick up some of the Samsung's slack, but the signal is still very weak and I drop calls, but at least I can send / receive texts, which is something I often could not do with the S III.

I live on the side of a ridge and can see a cell tower from my house, yet my reception is not consistant with this phone and Verizon service. Sometimes I don't recieve calls and sometimes people tell me they can't hear me clearly. I previously had no problems with U.S. Cellular at my house. I am switching back to USC.

With all the towers around I'm shocked with no service in the house. If you go toward Washington Pike or Millertown Pike, you will get perfect reception.

I have a Monthly4G plan with T-Mobile and I get great 4G service in Knoxville (where I work)... but in Oak Ridge I only get the EDGE network. This is ridiculously slow. Speed test shows about 10KB download speed in Oak Ridge. In Knoxville, I can get 3000KB download speed. T-Mobile needs to get 4G into Oak Ridge or I QUIT!

Singal strength barely registers on phone "bar" graph. Calls frequently drop. Sometimes when the phone is on, a 911 calls only message appears. This is a significant change from previous signal strengths, even with the SAME phone, just a few months ago.
