Sprint
Data coverage is weak. Calls are being dropped and data packets are being lost. They need to do a better job. There is on 1 tower in the South East corner of Memphis

Usually one or two bars, can usually call / receive calls but they cut out intermittently or drop off altogether. I tell people to call back on the land line.

Dropped calls with the iphone 4s. Bad reception. People say they call, but my phone doesn't always ring. Got an air wave, but the phone reception quality is still very low.

In order to get a cell singnal in the house I have to use the airave. 9 times out of 10 when I cross the intersection of Austin Peay and Yale Rd I will drop a call.

Almost a Black Hole, no reliable cell reception indoors. Outside reception is better but still poor.

We have Verizon and an iphone. Every call is dropped in my house. Only have 2 out of 5 bars all the time. It's extremely annoying. It's a little better when we go outside but not by much.

My ATT pay-go phone gets no signal anywhere on my property. I have to walk down the street to get even a weak signal. My son has an iPhone with ATT service and he gets the same result. The ATT tech who installed our Uverse service got the same result - he had to go out to his truck to call his office and kept dropping calls. Verizon casts more but works perfectly.

T-mobile seems to have bad reception on every major street in memphis. When I go into a house i'm lucky to have one bar. They actually don't offer 4g in memphis area. I have had cellular south, c-spire and cricket and can honestly say they have the worst reception internet speed of all the major carriers in the memphis area

I have a Sprint Overdrive Pro Hotspot device that I use for travel AND when Comcast goes out (which is happening more and more often). However, since moving to Germantown / Oakleigh and Steeplegate, I've had nothing but problems. Can't get anything more than 3G, never 4G, slow connection, service drops, etc. After an hour on the phone I was connected with a tech. He was having some problems too and, delving into it further and checking the towers, found that 2 towers were supporting most of east Memphis and beyond Collierville. He said there were 7 down or at full capacity. My cell phone is ATT and never have more than 3 bars here - so from what I've been told by a Sprint tech, I've come to believe that there probably aren't enough working towers in the Germantown area. Something to consider...
