I had a few issues a couple of weeks ago, but I talked to customer service and they said that I should turn off my phone every once in a couple of days so that I won't get any dropped calls. Other than that I cant complain... I just wish that Cingular would have a $39.99 plan like T-Mobile does... I miss the extra mins, but now I can go more places.

Nextel has superior signal in many other areas that I have traveled to. Strong signal in North, East, S.E, W Columbus. Poor Signal in my area which is S.W. Columbus near Grove City. Constantly dropping calls, normally only 1-2 bars of signal. Nextel needs to grow a brain and build a tower in this area.

Reception is good throughout 270 corridor, however there is a longstanding deadspot on Thurman ave at Jaeger. Everytime I drive past this spot the call is dropped. Good reception inside buildings. I'm considering switching to GSM just to modernize and also because my 2 year old Nokia has recently developed volume issues (the caller can't be heard if there is any background noise).

I have had Cingular for a little over a year now and have always had good reception; I have never dropped a call. I used to live in Worthington (43235) and I had really good service there, even inside buildings. I've noticed that in some apartment buildings here on campus (including my own) I don't get good service, but I think that is just a hazard of cell phones in general - regardless of maunfacturer or carrier. I will say that I get service in places that a lot of my friends don't - like the basements of buildings and inside the mall - but I think a lot of that is thanks to my phone, not Cingular.

Reception is poor in the kitchen but great upstairs and around town. Works great in Chillicothe and Waverly as well.

I found that I keep going in and out of network. I am on my wife's share plan and she has no problems at all. Same phone, same account. I had 4 phone replacements and 4 number replacements. I keep telling them about the restrictions on their share plan not having the same features for the secondary number as the primary number and verizon naturally disagrees with my asumptions. Still working on this problem and have been for the past 2 months.

Constantly roaming at our home, drops calls all through area. Same problem with different phone models (Samsung). We are situated between 2 major highways, I-71 and SR 315 and can't get good service.

I never have any reception problems with T-mobile in Columbus. Signals remain strong in buildings and never dropped a call. All of my friends use T-Mobile or is about to switch to T-Mobile. Personally I have them for 19 months so far and very satisfied. For sure, T-Mobile is the best service provider in Columbus, Ohio.

Reception is always good with Verizon. Even with my antenna down and in a building reception is perfect.
